Alaska FishTopia is being completely reinvented. Our current release contains fish counts and sport regulations and we will continue to release and improve features that were available in the previous versions of the app. Major Features: Fish Counts - Daily fish counts for all major river and species of fish in Alaska. Daily fish counts also included real-time daily updates as soon as the fish count information is available. In addition to in-season fish counts, Alaska FishTopia also provides several years worth of historical data and a 3-year running average. Escapements for both in-season and historical data are also available along with escapement targets as set by Alaska Department of Fish And Game. Regulations: Sportfishing regulations are also provided in the app and are categorized by each major area of Alaska including Northern/Interior, South Central, Southeast, and Southwest regions.

Alaska FishTopia provides in-season fish counts along with more than 7 years of historical data. It also provides a running 3-year average and shows both in-season and historical annual escapements along with escapement goals. Tides: In Alaska we're constantly looking at tides. Whether figuring out when to launch a boat, go clamming, or when the fish will be moving into the rivers, tides are a way of life. With the tides page you will get immediate tidal information for the day. Currents: While tides tell us water height and the associated high/low time of day, currents tells us the speed at which the water is moving to those heights. Marine Weather: While local weather provides weather over major land areas, marine zone forecasts will provide predictions for wind direction and speed, wave height, and things such as small craft advisories in open water regions. Live Buoys: Forecasts are great but also not always 100% accurate. When you want to see what the actual current conditions are, hundreds of buoys are floating in Alaska's water with radios broadcasting current conditions.
