Hi....the app was very basic and crude and I had no confidence in the data....I went to another app...

I thought this would be a handy tool to track my frequent travel, but the mystery of how it calculates dates, is so wildly off, it can’t be trusted. Something seemed not right about the dates, so I built a spreadsheet to track mine and realized AS was off—I literally had to book a flight out of Schengen on 4-hours notice so as not to overstay. Now I am at 88 of the trailing 180 days (some of my early days have aged out) and Awesome Schengen is telling me I have 25 days left!!!

Poor app
Awesome Schengen doesn’t seem to function properly. For example, when I selected to enter France on 22-Apr-2019, it told me that if I left on same date then I would have spent 57 days in the EU when clearly the answer should be 1 day spent. Also it didn’t give me the opportunity to select a date to exit the EU.

Hey Terry! Sorry it did not work as you expected. When you create a new entry - it creates either entrance or exit. In the future, just create one for entry, and when you will go back to UK - create new one for exit, and it will calculate everything. This is done so you can track your current travel length, in case you are not sure about the exit date.
