  • It’s not bad

    Could have more features
  • Having a dark browser is great! But...

I love the dark mode and being able to switch easily. The reader view is super convenient and handy (I have found content I would have otherwise missed). But there are definitely features from other browsers that are missing:
    1) Request desktop site
    2) Open tabs on other devices
    3) Probably a couple other minor ones but I miss these two

Hi there, Thanks for writing in. 1) Berry supports Request Desktop Site. Just hold the refresh button. (Enhancement to make this even better on iPad coming soon) 2) Will add this in an upcoming update. 3) Please let me know! I'm always updating the app to make it better -> hello@berrybrowser.com Cheers, Johnny
  • Great App that helped me!

I just started using this dark browser and ya very good! I like how it’s not too bright, and it helps me navigate easier at night. Minimal cost to know I can surf and sleep easier. Thank you for the app!
  • Perfect!!

This app is just amazing, I was looking for browser with complete dark mode for a long time and I finally found it ❤️
  • Dedicated developer

Left a suggestion for the developer on a Sunday night, replied within an hour. Hey buddy get some sleep your app works great. Perfect for using at night. This does not duplicate the built in accessibility feature in IOS. It is much more
  • Nice app!

I like the fact that the browser is fast and the user can change the themes quickly, however, the browser does not provide buttons to go backwards or forward like Safari and other browsers do. Also, it will be good to have the option of setting up a default website so that each time you open the browser it opens on that specific website, like google for example. In addition, it will very convenient to have the option to use the dark keyboard available in iOS.

Also, I noticed that the browser is inverting the colors of the photos in some websites, like the google maps website for example.

Hi frank_cisco, Thanks so much for writing your feedback. To save space, the browser uses edge swipe from left and right edges to do forward and back navigation -- it was an oversight on my part to not mention this in the tutorial. On larger devices like iPad, there are buttons for back and forward. Let me know if this is a hassle for you -- I may add a toggle to add these buttons in even on smaller screens. I've added your request for a default home page to the features roadmap. As for using the iOS dark keyboard -- unfortunately, we are unable to do that for text fields on websites, we can only do that for the URL address bar. Re: Inverting photos on some sites -- we are working to improve this all the time. Thanks for your support! For any future issues, please send an email to hello@berrybrowser.com and I'll get back to you ASAP. Cheers
  • Great app, one request

LOVE this app on my iPhone X. It would be perfect if only I could swipe to go back to the new tab page/main screen (left to right). You can use this gesture to go back to the previous website but not to the main screen.

Thanks so much! Will add this feature in an upcoming update.
  • Paint it Black

A sight for a Night Owl's sore eyes. The dark browser I've been waiting for.
  • Simple and Clean UI!

Simple, clean, attractive, and dark... just the way I like it ;) Now I can browse on my phone or iPad at night in bed and not have my other half yell at me for it being too bright!
  • Has potential

I recently wrote a review about things I wanted to see and features that did not work.

I'm an idiot and didn't follow the tutorial and had my concern about the dark mode always being on addressed via reddit which was awesome.

The iCloud sync was not working properly. I emailed the dev and they were super responsive. Asked all the right questions and helped me figure out two things.
    1. Safari bookmarks don't sync to berry which I now understand, but I still had an issue syncing newly added bookmarks to my other device.
    2. Work profiles may prevent syncing which was my exact issue. I removed the profile and it started to work properly. Will need to sacrafice this though which isn't a huge deal.

Overall, dev is super great and helpful and has a great browser I will support and recommend.

Hey PJliotta, Thanks for your feedback! I responded to your comment on Reddit, but I'll respond here too and add a bit more: If you go through the tutorial, it shows you that you can actually toggle the Dark Mode on and off easily. Just hold the refresh button and it will give you the toggle. The iCloud sync for bookmarks should be working -- this is the first I've heard of it not working. Are your two devices both on the same iCloud accounts (and have Berry enabled for iCloud)? As for regular updates, I've released 3 updates in the last 3 days for this app, and I plan to keep updating it so it can be the perfect browser for you. Please let me know about any bugs/etc at hello@berrybrowser.com. Cheers, Johnny
