Useless.. huge waste of money
Manfrotto what are you doing with this garbage. So disappointed I spent so much money on a product thats completely unusable. The instructions don’t even tell you which app to download and then both of the apps cant find the genie at all. The genie doesn’t power on or off (just powered on all the time) so its just a rubber piece of garbage. I wish it wasn’t. It looked like it was gonna be much better. This makes me question Manfrotto’s other products. Oh and it doesn’t come with the cable to fire the shutter!! What the…. That’s the whole point of the product. So even if it did work I wouldn’t be able to use it until i spent some more money on the cableShow lessUnsatisfied_Facebook_sucks
Can’t use my new product
This app is horrible. The equipment I just purchased is useless because it requires an update and fails every time I try to update the hardware. It should not be nearly this difficult.MattHodge
Endless bugs
This app works so poorly. I’m using the genie mini, just trying to execute basic pans for video. Constant disconnects, and worse, the record button often doesn’t appear at all after resync. Using the app every day in the field, I have to say that it’s truly awful. The old beta Genie app was way more reliable, worked in portrait mode, and was just all around superior. I’ve been a Syrp loyalist for years but this pain of using this app compelled me to write this review.Show lesscbboyer13
