Super useful and reliable stud detector in your phone. Better than most others I’ve tried
Bad app. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
1) The app times out so quickly I spent more time clearing the timeouts than I spent testing the app.
2) I was scanning a structure that I know had aluminum framing, but none was detected before the timeouts were reached. I might have had more luck if the timeout were longer, but I don’t have that much time to waste.
These apps use the iPhone magnetometer. Based on further testing, it will not detect aluminum, copper, or some stainless steel.

Works
App does what it’s supposed to do, works best when you take your case off.
Too many ads
If they want us to pay then give us an interrupted trial that is longer than 3-6 seconds. 5-10 minutes and if useful, I am sure coughing up $3 is not much if it works.
For the few minutes I tried given the short 3-6 second scan window, it is all but useless at finding metal studs, metal of any sorts. I am not sure what the “others” are saying by rating 5 stars. I used it over an exposed electrical junction box, nad.
So useless, not even worth the effort to remove.

Does the job plain and simple
Hope it will work
Am trying to unlock the premium feature.
Basic but useful
This app has basic functions but enough to be useful. I’d give it a 5 if it didn’t seek to barter my review for full use.
First review
Have not had enough time to fully utilize the app. Easy to follow instructions and seems to be a winner. Will write another review after more usage. Rated 3 stars for what I have experience thus far. Could go up in sexo d review.
Not very user- friendly unless you have premium
As stated above, the app will eventually tell you to rate or pay; otherwise, you’ll have to keep using the free version which interrupts frequently with ads while you’re attempting to measure.
