Way better than Scaly App
This is so much better than the standard Arc app with multiple pace cars and great features. Only a few minor bugs which I’m sure will get fixed over time.
Exactly what we need for ARC Pro
When Scalextric released the ARC Pro slot car power base, they provided their own app which is decent but flawed. Their decision to release the specs to allow third-party app development has yielded projects like this one. Kudos to Hornby for releasing the specs, and big kudos to Magic for building an app the works really well with this new powerbase.
No, the app is not *perfect* yet, but it does all the major things right: race configuration, car & driver database, landscape mode with clear visuals, final race stats with PDF export, audio cues for pit stops and fastest lap, and lots more. I imagine that some pro racers will find limitations, but for our casual group this app worked great and really enhances the ARC Pro product.
If you’re using this app and you like it, consider giving Magic a donation. The app is free but he’s a one-man operation who’s continuing to make improvements and add features

Doesn’t Work
Not compatible with iPad mini, can’t connect via Bluetooth.
Finally a 3rd part ARC app!
One year after ARC Pro and not many options on mobile or pc for race control outside Scaleys own app. Thank you for this!
I find this app to be more stable and easier to use. I’m hoping the development and evolution of this all will be at a quicker pace than Scalextric has been - there are so many possibilities.
might I put a good word in for variable speed pace cars? With just one tight turn, the constant speed cars or calibration is almost unusable. Then and really reaching here but an automatic deployment of safety car on yellow???

It’s way better than the normal scalextrix app but doesn’t run as smoothly. Few bugs here and there. Please fix. It sometimes no sound and mucks up the lane changes. Please fix. But really good. That’s way 4/5
Best Race Control for Scalextric Digital
Magic ARC app replaces the Scalextric ARC app to control racing on Scalextric ARC power bases. It won’t give you features your hardware doesn’t support, but it is light years ahead of Scaley’s app. Features include landscape mode, controller-activated track call (yellow flag events), and the ability to draw your own throttle profile. It also supports racing against multiple pace cars. Visit the Scalextric ARC Pro forum on slotforum.com to report bugs, request features, or discuss this app with the author himself. Magnifico!
