Must have app for anyone investing in crypto
It's brilliant as well as accurate.
Tip, copy and paste the contract address for a coin from this app if you are buying on an exchange like uniswap so that you don't get scammed by fake tokens.
They're a bit slow adding the market cap to new coins and the charts could be much better but you don't go there for chart analysis I suppose so it's ok.Show lessPaulc13
Great App
Good tool when trying to keep up with price movements in the market. The candy feature is also a great way the app encourages you engagement.
The only negative is that the price does not keep up-to-date very well when monitoring my portfolio. It will state one price, but when I select the asset the price is often different. Sometimes the price is drastically different. Upon returning to my portfolio the price still fails to update with the price just seen and instead presents the price as originally seen before I selected the asset. The only way I can force it to update is by closing the app completely and restarting it.Show lessTomw5191

When I use Google to go to
Your site I get much more information then when I use the app… Why is that? When I use the web I get an indication of buy and sell and also a link to conversations about the specific coin I’m interested in. Great app for your crypto needs!
I love the CoinGecko app, it’s very user friendly with a great overall layout. Searching for coins/tokens is simple and with a click of a button you can find all the information you need regarding the coin/token. The second cool thing is being able to add your current coins/tokens to the portfolio section where the app will keep track of fiat gains and daily fluctuations. The third thing I enjoy are the “candies” you receive as an award for using the app daily, with the candies you can claim rewards such as crypto shirts and other crypto related products! Best portfolio feature
I already loved the app for its comprehensive lists: prices, exchanges, favourites, but the feature that made the it essential for me was the portfolio. In the favourite list I can add my holdings with date, amount and total payment and the app gives me the asset’s performance since my investment started. I don’t have this feature in the other apps I use to buy crypto. Also GoinGecko’s lists have a more intuitive design and structure showing relevant data in a much better way.Show lessOxidkeja
It’s got everything I need to watch crypto
I was looking around the App Store for an app that has a good crypto tracking interface, can set alerts to notify you when a coin hits a price, and has dark mode. I was using coin gecko on the web browser and I enjoyed the site. So upon first downloading the app I was immediately given the option to select dark mode on the very first page. That’s how you won my heart gecko! Some other fantastic functions are the setting options for the app to startup on the portfolio tab, and especially to be able to add widgets of your favorite coins so I could just swipe left on my home screen and see the price. I had downloaded a few other crypto apps that are much more popular than this one but this one beats them all and I’ve deleted the others. I’m just so fascinated that an app has all the exact functions I want lol I’m almost starstruck. Thank you CoinGecko!Show lessgreeenteaaa

💗👌🏼Ty guys for the response. I love the portfolio features you have. It’s way better than Coinmarketcap. Seeing what you guys have makes me want even more. Please add more portfolio features. It’s nice being able to track the purchases and quickly see what the prices are at. I would really love the option of having more than one portfolio. What if I had 2-3 pages of completely separate portfolios?

Love the percentage down for week/days etc - you can easily say now is a good time to buy based on this info. If anyone has not read their yearly report (I got mine shares through a group) so I’m hoping it’s free... but it is so well written and insightful!Rob82aus
