The Pelican Broadcasting & Sports TV Network (KPBN-TV) has been providing South Louisiana with 24/7 television programming for over 15 years. From Baton Rouge, to Lafayette, to New Orleans, Pelican brings some of the most diverse programs in local, regional, high school, college & pro sports, as well as hunting, fishing & outdoors to a potential audience of over 1,000,000 households and 3.2 million people daily. With a wide array of seasonal and year-round shows, TV audiences tune into The Pelican for its entertainment pertaining to sports and outdoors.
The Pelican offers new shows each week covering local and national sports topics. Tigers Roar is a two-hour in-depth look at LSU Athletics stockpiled with highlights, player & coaches interviews, and expert analysis of all LSU sports. Tigers Roar features host Tommy “TK” Krysan and Jordy Hultberg. Next, Sports Shorts TV with Host Ronnie “Jumbo” Rantz covers all current, local, and national sports topics a-la ESPN-style. Also airing each week in the fall, the Jaguar Football Show which is a close look at Southern University football. For all of the outdoor enthusiasts, Hosts Gary Rispone, Don Dubuc, bring audiences on a journey through the bayous of South Louisiana where they meet local sportsmen to find the best "honey-holes" and get a detailed fishing & hunting forecast each week on Paradise Louisiana.
