One of the best incremental games

I rarely write review (2 in 10 years), but I just have to say this is in the top 3 idle incrementels in history. Very engaging, great mechanics, gorgeous graphics and even sharp and witty writing. VERY enjoyable!

Thanks so much!

Fun, for a while.

I’m a pretty big sucker for idle games, and I definitely love the aesthetic of this game. It has a really well thought out system as well that does a lot to make it stand out among the crowd of idle games. However, after a few days of playing, I’m already burnt out.

The main contributor is the way the prestige system works in that you only get the buffs for that given run, and is in no way accumulative. It makes the player feel as if they are not really getting stronger.

Also, the reason I’m giving this game a 2 and not a 3-star rating is the fact that getting back to the production levels you were at prior to resetting takes far too long. It makes the game feel like a slog, and really puts a damper on the overall experience.

Surprised

I first saw this game in the App Store 2 days ago. I thought it would be like any ordinary clicker game where you play for a day and then you need micro transactions to progress. But that was not the case. It may be a slow passed game but there is always a sense of progression. It’s not full of ads and there is a reason to be active.

I like the fact that this game doesn’t have a single currency and it has multiple steps to get a certain upgrade. Unlike most games where the “rebirth” function completely resets you and there is no cool screen for it, this game has a interact-able cutscene where you tap. I also like the way that “rebirthing” is the only way to progress in some ways. Some tower slots are only unlock able through spending souls.

There are a few things I would like to change. I wish that there was a way to either extend your maximum offline earnings or a way to get more than one double offline earnings than once per day. I would also like there to be a way to be able to boost the output of one floor at a time. To make this I would have a boost floor button that will be on every production floor. If you select it on one floor, then on another the first one will turn off and the new one will turn on. You could also make this a special unlock with souls that would really make this game great.

Other than that, this is one of the best if not the best mobile game I have ever played.

Fun

A fun little idle game. The characters make witty little comments and are fairly humorous. While playing so far I’ve seen both the prestige mechanic and an in game event that changes things up. I love idle games and I’d definitely recommend this one!

Idle

The game is quite good for a idle game and being a lazy person i expect a good idle game to be something like this but the game is incredibly slow at the start, I've had it installed for 30mins or so and really enjoying it but really feel like i am going to loose interest due to the heroes not changing items (coins rings and chalices) taking too long to obtain at the start mostly pointing towards the chalices.

If i was able id rate 4.5 stars due to its being a perfect idle game but lacking some features in the game.

Good game but flawed

Before I start I’m going to admit that what I’m going to complain about is intentional by the developers and a lot of players will enjoy it as a feature. I do not.
Some producing levels require you to constantly chop and change production so that you can produce one certain thing.
For example I need blobs to make bat wings and I need bat wings to make spider webs but to make lava pouches (the one after spider eggs) I have to stop blog production and make ogre nests, which then stops spider eggs because they require blobs, and spider eggs are needed for bat wings and so on.
This grows tedious having to swap things around so constantly and having checked in to the game every time to find that your production stopped hours ago is annoying.
I apocalypses 4 times so I’ve had a good go, just not personally for me and I’d like to see upgraded production produce BOTH things instead of having to chose.

Not as good as the previous games

Was looking forward to this after playing the previous two games made by the developers but I’m very disappointed just a rinse and repeat with no real effort in gameplay.

In response to developers-

I got to level 9 five times but couldn’t seem to progress past that I was logging in multiple times a day but not really gaining anything as too many items would be needed to upgrade and it takes days to get the required amounts from each station I love idle games but I want to at least feel like I’m getting somewhere with my time.

Hey, sorry you didn't enjoy it. Out of interest how long did you stick with it?

Beyond Perfect

What isn’t there to say about this game? The pixel art and animations are eye candy, the characters are witty, memorable, and will leave you laughing out loud, and the gameplay is addicting as all Hell. Also, there are cutscenes! It really feels like an old SNES game. I am always excited when Sid has something new to say.

There is a surprising amount of strategy involved with the choices you make. I have such a hard time putting it down because I want to be as efficient as possible. I am actually glad this game doesn’t have a Wiki yet because it’s fun to explore new mechanics.

If you’re into the occult, you’re in for a treat. I am anxiously awaiting my first apocalypse.

##My ONLY complaint is that advertisements don’t always load. I want to be able to support the game and get some perks, but I’ve only been able to succcesfully watch two ads. Please fix!##

My apologies

I would like to apologize about my last review, it wasn’t your fault. It was actually my stupid Spectrum box signal that decided to mess up my WiFi for a few minutes. I hope you except my apology, your game is working perfectly I got both of my purchases so everything is fine. That being said, there is one thing I want in future update. A notification on when one of my upgrades are available, like a checklist system. Again sorry for my other review, keep up the good work.
