Instructions poorly written

I purchased this expensive spoon for my husband. The instruction booklet said to download the app for testing the spoon. The instructions to set up the spoon were unclear and it became apparent it was not an app for the spoon but to persuade you to purchase it. It’s put my husband off using it.
