Terrible experience
Like many other users, I am in disbelief how bad this app is.
It just doesn't work.
My LSX are incredible, absolutely the best sound ever.
But I am constantly running into connection issues and the app is making it very very difficult to enjoy the whole experience.
I love the speakers but I will probably buy another brand in future purely because I struggle to use them as intended.
Please KEF sort it out. Hire some decent product managers and let them make something great. You can do it!Show lessIva biva
Worked perfectly for me first go!
I realise there are a lot of negative reviews on here but in my experience everything worked fine on first go. The missing star is due to a step which the in-app setup steps doesn’t mention. That being that once your speaker is powered up, you need to head to your wifi settings on your phone and wait for the KEF wifi network to appear, then connect to this. Then head back to the setup app and try to connect to your speaker. Once I realised that everything worked fine. Also, if your speakers have previously been set up, make sure to hold that reset button for 3 seconds to wipe the previous settings and allow it to be set up again (mine are KEF LSX - first generation)Show lessBunjadiddle
Please fix this app
My KEF LSXs were expensive. After many tries I managed to get the LSXs connected to my network (using Apple Home app, not KEF stream), and KEF Stream managed to play music through them for a couple of weeks. Suddenly last week, although thr LSXs are connected to my wifi network, Neither the KEF stream or KEF control can find them. My LSXs are once again expensive paperweights.Show lesstele54
No Mesh Routers.
This rubbish app/speakers don’t allow any Mesh routers. They are not keen to change the system to allow those routers either. Where does it say “no Mesh Routers”? They should mention important information.
Not cheap speakers but awful IT support. Why do they make such speakers which don’t work to annoy and disappoint customers?Show lessD.OJ
Would never recommend
Have been so disappointed since buying this system. From the first day we opened the box, we had issues with the control app: speaker won’t connect reliably. App freezes and KEF is not interested in bug fixes. Do yourself a favour and buy a different productBazl1
Shockingly bad
The only thing more unresponsive than this application is KEF completely ignoring how bad this application is. For the price of these speakers, you’d think they could get the app right. But now with the release of the LSX 2’s they have completely left behind the people who bought the first gen speakers. Trash App
This app is horrible. Constantly loses connection, is poorly designed and all round rubbish. KEF should be embarrassed that this even exists.
Now they have new models out they are unlikely to make the fixes this app requires. I mean just fix the UI and connection issues, what is your excuse KEF? UI and connection issues are not dependent on anything in the speaker itself. Not asking for mew features just asking for you to make this app work.
Basically there is no excuse that they fix this app other then they don’t want to spend the coin to fix the issues and look after loyal customers.
Really shows you KEFs value towards its customers.
Will not be considering any of your products going forward and no one should. Now you might say, buy new speakers, the new app works great. But give it a few years when that isn’t working and they have new speakers out, KEF has shown you exactly how they will treat you.
