Description of StackBlox

StackBlox is a simple block puzzle game. Blox drop from the top one-by-one. Move and rotate them to fit them together with minimal gaps. Complete rows disappear, making room for more blox. Blox gradually fall faster so prepare yourself! If you fill up the screen, it's game over. This app is free with no ads and a minimalistic presentation that won't use up too many resources. Have fun!

  • Awedome game

I liked playing the game and seeing Steve's CppCon presentation about it. Thanks, Steve. You cobtinue to amaze me.
  • Room for improvement

As a diehard Tetris fan from an early age I’m always a sucker for any version I can get my hands on. The iOS version of this game is finicky with its controls, but once you get a feel for its sensitivity it’s quite playable. There are some basic features missing from the app which make it difficult to recommend, however. I know the developer is working on incorporating scoring, which is great and all, but I think it should take a backseat to one simple feature every game should have: the ability to pause the freaking game! I cannot stress this enough. The lack of ability to pause so that I can put down the game without sacrificing progress is maddening! I look forward to future updates and can only hope that a pause feature and maybe a menu screen are soon forthcoming.

Uncontrollable, Overreacts, moves too fast. It’ll only make you frustrated if not downright angry.
