Best game to play
The second I turned the game on and saw it was made by devolver digital I knew it would be amazing like all the other games they made and it was. it’s amazing. easy to understand control I mastered them after level three. It’s one of the best games to play and is worth the monthly subscription to play it. This is a game I will be playing for years because of all the content it has like multiple difficulty’s

This game is a mobile dark souls
This game is really fun. Everything about it has so much detail and effort put into it. The rhythm of the battle a great, and it’s fun, once you’ve learnt an enemy’s moves, to counter and attack them, and give back all the pain they gave you.
I have a slight qualm, but I don’t think it’s enough to take away a full star: the stagger timing is too long. There are problems which occur under constant attacks, such as the laser which the red creature with the axe in the svargull mines fires, or some of the spinning attacks, like the one the skeletal warrior does. If you are hit by these attacks, all of which are also unblockable, you are staggered, and since you cannot move, you remain in the hit box, and you have a small window to get out. This window must be hit nearly frame perfectly to get out, and even then you could still be hit if you don’t then roll away again. There are technically two solutions, the other being make the i-frames longer, but that feels unfair.
Apart from that, I think this is one of the best mobile games I have ever played, and I loved it to bits. And my character ended up in many bits, many times.

Poorly Titled Difficulty
Not a big deal, but there are two difficulties available at download: Normal and Doom. The description of normal says “Enemies deal less damage and have less health”. Normal and less don’t go together, how can they have ‘less’ to compare to when it is already at normal, this description should go under Easy. 4 stars cause I still have to play, will update.

Amazing
This is also my first Apple Arcade game and I love it. It has the perfect amount of difficulty that makes it so fun. Just get it. Also music and sound effects are great

This game is a brilliant concept, although the controls could be improved. I’d rely like to see a second instalment of this game, I was wondering if it could be turned into a adventure action kind of style for example like continuous scrolling so you have to run to new locations. The cut scenes and the style of graphics is brilliant.

Great game
I don’t say this lightly but this is one of the best games I’ve played on the iPhone. Perfectly balanced gameplay, easy to master controls, a real sense of achievement as you progress and really addictive. I can’t fault this game. The graphics are perfectly suited to the game - it’s the gameplay that really shines and a lot of effort had been put in by the devs to really get it just right. Perfect.

Plays great with a controller, wouldn’t recommend without
I simply could not get hang of the touch controls. My thumbs would be sore as a tried very hard, but got endlessly bashed to death. Waaay better with controller, though it is puzzling to me that the attack and block are on the same button, it would play better if block for instance was on triangle, instead of it all being on square.
Other issues I had were how your character, the enemies and the environment look the same. Especially early game, it can be very easy to lose your character in some enemies which is very dangerous, or to get sneak attached by an enemy that just appeared that was blending into the the trees. Can get a bit repetitive at times but overall good game.

This game is absolutely great I just wish you could unlock different swords,shields,or even different characters (maybe in a future update🤷🏼♂️) that would make this game even better but even without that stuff this game is awesome and packed with action controls are easy and you can master them pretty quick.

Great game with game breaking bug
So I have completed normal mode and was close to completing bleak mode and the save data wiped for no reason. This was a shame as I couldn’t access bleak mode off the bat ( for good reason ) so will probably never complete it. The game is quite simple and feels like a mobile dark souls. The dodge feel clean with fast paced attacks with flow well. My main gripe of the gameplay was the over use of unblockable attacks which at the endgame, nearly forces you to bait attacks then dodge then attack. Anyway it is a great game which may delete your save data.

Extremely cool and fun game with issues
This game lives up to everything it says it does. Good graphics with style, really find gameplay and challenging on the hard difficulty. I recommend playing on hard while the easier difficulty is too easy. My problem with the save issues it has. The first time I had an issue was when I was on the very last area to beat and the game deleted my save entirely. I went back through and beat the game, but when I opened it back up later, it went all the way back to where I was halfway through. It’s actually very annoying.
