How far can you get before the flood gets you?
Hi, I'm an indie solo game developer and this is my stupid bird game. Yes, just what the world needs, another bird game, and here it is. Well, download it anyways, give it a go, see how far you can reach before the flood swallows you whole... and that's all I have to say about that, no punch line. Oh, if you have a moment and find this stupid game in anyway entertaining, leave a comment; helps me reach others and further spread my stupidity of a game. Thank you.
Now I'll give a little background story to my stupid bird:
A Whoopee Duck is a wingless bird that jumps from branch to branch who is ready to embark on an exhilarating endless hopping escapade from the rising tide as a plucky avian adventurer amidst a world teetering on the brink of catastrophe. Before the Flood engulfs the tranquil landscape of Northamptonshire; the game unfolds with a sense of merriment and gaiety on a sunny summer’s day full of photosynthesis all around where you hear the birds chirping away, inviting you, the player, to revel in the whimsical antics of our feathered protagonist as he jumps to survive the blue dark waters of the flood.
As a windstorm looms on the horizon, our want to be Cygnet must navigate a perilous journey up and off the lush grassland and dense forests, hopping from branch to branch with endless enthusiasm. With each bound, the duck must maintain its buoyancy amidst the rising tide, evading a great fall and avoid being a falling duck into the blue dark waters of the treacherous killer flood.
In this world of sometimes ephemeral beauty and fleeting moments, the ducky is challenged to harness the power of levity and high spirits to defy the encroaching endless rising water. Amidst the chaos, the allure of Pink Floyd's melodic tunes echoe inside ducky’s mind as he jumps from branch to branch, through the air, inspiring the duck to press upward and away from the relentless ever rising flood.
As the floodwaters surge up on the landscape transforms into a maze of drifting driftwood and tangled lichen, ducky must summon his inner Thumper to leap to greater heights. With each successful ascent, the duck's courage grows, fueled by the unwavering belief that "Yes we can" overcome any obstacle in our path.
In the heart of the wetland, where the waters run deepest and the shadows loom darkest, players confront the ultimate question: "Can you stand it?" Armed with nothing but determination and crazy duck resilience, they plunge headlong into the fray, defying the odds and embracing the challenge with unwavering resolve.
Before the Flood is a testament to the indomitable spirit of adventure and the boundless potential of the bird duck spirit. How long can you survive amidst the chaos and uncertainty of the flood? Only time will tell as you embark on this daring quest into the unknown.
As the adventure unfolds amidst the lush canopy of the forest, our duck, filled with zest and vim, dances through the branches like a lark in summertime. The Alpenglow paints the sky in hues of pink and orange, casting a warm glow over the landscape as the solstice approaches.
In the distance, the moonlight shimmers over the swamp, casting eerie shadows upon the water's surface. Yet our duck presses on, fueled by a relentless determination to reach the safety of higher ground.
As twilight falls and the stars twinkle overhead, our duck finally glimpses the reef of hope rising above the dark waters. With one final leap, it reaches the summit, bathed in the golden light of dawn.
In this moment of triumph, our duck reflects on the journey that brought it to this point. From the depths of the swamp to the heights of the canopy, it has faced challenges with courage and determination, embracing each new obstacle with unwavering resolve.
As the sun rises over Yellowstone, casting its warm glow upon the land, our duck spreads its wings and takes flight once more. End of story! Enjoy the game folks! Leave a comment!
