Great and easy to use.
Just adding the server configuration would add it to the file app. Very easy to use and helpful.
very cool
this is awesome. only thing I can't figure out is, when I try and SAVE a file from the internet directly to my server, the SFTP logo is grayed out?? I can save and open locally but I am unable to download to it. Is this a bug or?
Does what it's supposed to
This app does exactly what it's supposed to about how you would expect, with minimal hassle.
Scam warning!
Initially this app was amazing and I had written a great review.
Then today I tried to access it and my settings had gone, and the app was asking me to pay an extra 6 pounds to add them back - despite the fact that I had already paid 8 pounds to purchase the app in the first place.
The app itself has no contact details or support link, and the "support page" linked form this page is a dodgy Google doc.
Needless to say I’ve requested a refund. Stay away.

Works well
Got this working decently enough. I was able to set it up to my local Raspberry Pi pretty simply enough. A few things to note: it does not seem to like "<hostname>.local" addresses, but IPv4 address works well enough. If you change the configuration, make sure that you select another location in the Files app, then go back to SFTP File Provider, it will then update properly.

Very slow
For something that specializes in only one protocol, it’s very slow. It’s very immature as well. Such as suggesting that I’m connecting to port “22,222”.
Edit:
No, your app is very slow. Other apps that support SFTP and other protocols are multiple times faster then your app. All on the same devices, and all with the same configuration.

Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. SFTP is indeed a slow protocol, but sometimes it’s the only means to access files on a remote server. Hence the need for this app. The suggested default port is 22, not 22,222.
Really needs pubkey authentication
Works really great! But I would really really love to be able to authenticate with my server with public key authentication instead of a password.
Response from developer
Thank you for the feedback! Please upgrade to the latest version which now supports key pair authentication.
Needs More Bake Time
Works well enough for small files, but breaks and errors out for anything large. I have a number of 80+ MB files that simply don’t work at all.
Response from developer
Thank you for the feedback AdamTh! Please upgrade to the latest version which fixes this issue.
