The heat awareness system was developed by researchers at the University of Washington in collaboration with representatives from the agricultural community. The heat awareness system uses data from the Washington State University AgWeatherNet weather stations. If you sign up for this service, you will receive notifications in advance of hot weather and heat waves that will provide information on how to best keeps workers safe andhealthy.
