Really fun

This is a great game for would be designers or day dreamers like me! It is fairly easy to play without paying for extra coins as long as you are patient enough to vote and wait for people to vote on your designs. The better your designs the more coins you are able make. So it is worth taking your time and getting the design pretty! Other times i just do as many as i can just to get coins but it can lower your status if you dont get good votes for your designs. I try to aim for top three, sometimes i am surprised when a design i love comes last and a design i wasnt sure about is first but usually it is easy to get a feel for what makes a good design! Good luck and i hope u have fun designing too!
I would like to add since the update i have been very frustrated that i have lost items i paid for, i used to soend a lot of real cash on this game but since the update i have stopped as it doesnt seem worth it anymore as items i bought got taken off me and the prices for items when sky high they also put a limit on the amount if times u can vote so i can only do two or three sesigns at the most before putting the game down, this is rediculous! It has ruined the game and i am super disappointed

Really sad

I have been playing this game for quite a fair years now and enjoyed the different challenges and find out a little bit about Interior Design along the way. Over time it started to change somewhat and so I decided as a treat, I would buy a season pass and that would enable me to pick up items that I may not have and use them together with my challenges for the season and beyond. Now we only get five uses with each item regardless of whether we have a season pass or not.

I end up sometimes spending more money to play the game as there is often something I don’t have in my item inventory and connsequently end up having to spend more money on the game each time I want to play.

This is unfair.

I also noticed that when I do put a substantial amount of money like paying for extra coins and so forth, my scores go up. Sometimes I will even get a five star rating which leaves me feeling that this game is being rigged.

Naturally I am very disappointed as I played this game because it was entertaining, fun for everyone and has terrific graphics. Now I’m looking at deleting it and walking away. Some of the results I have seen are not that great yet they win and I shake my head and wonder how they got such a high score.

I am very disappointed and thought Redecor was better than that.

Obviously not.

This is another gambling game now! Stay clear!!!!

***UPDATE*** This game is getting worse. Nothing more than one of their gambling games. They have changed the algorithms so that great designs do not win and you have to spend so much money. They have silly colouring book designs which are insulting! They are losing their long term paying players that have had enough. This can’t go on. They are cheating us!!!! Playtika have ruined what was once a great interior design game. It is now just another of their gambling games with algorithms like a slot machine. They have made it so expensive to play and hard to win. Shame on you Playtika, there are many disabled people that depend on this. The designs are now awful and I liken them to a children’s colouring book. They don’t stick to the theme of the season, which is what the season pass items are for, they deviate to ridiculous themes that have nothing to with interior design!! People are now starting to realise this and I hope you do badly and sell the game to someone that cares about their players. Try Garden Joy, it’s free and fair. Starting to wean myself off Redecor and am playing Garden Joy. Doesn’t cost me a penny. Goodbye Playtika, you are losing your seasoned paying players 😂. You are money grabbing thieves!!!!!🤬🤬

Bittersweet

I really enjoy playing the game until they started this designer status thing where they set you back if you reach the next level in a couple days. Other than that I have no problem. Wish you guys would remove placing us back to lower level if we don’t reach a different level within a couple days…..

Annoyed

I have played this game for years now. It's ridiculous that I have to get enough wins to "secure" the superstar status and the bonuses that I have EARNED over much money spent on this game. I'm not paying $12 to keep the things I've already EARNED and then continue to spend money on your app. You are not rewarding the people who support your game the MOST. There is no incentive. Everytime the season ends, if I've been too busy to play as much as I like (Ps I play DAILY it's not enough) then I lose my bonuses and my status. And you have the audacity to ask for more money to not take away the things I've EARNED. Save yourself time MONEY and some disappointment and frustration, and don't download this game.

Hit with pop ups

Every time I open the app I get hit with at least 5 pop ups. I then go to collect my daily coins and get hit with another two. So frustrating - some you have no choice but be forced to go to the store. Also, when Inscroll to the bottom to collect my daily coins, it takes me back to the top and I have to scroll again. There are some issues with the app and occasionally can’t play for a while because I don’t have coins. I’ve purchased the season pass a few times but it’s too expensive.

I used to love it but now I'm leaving

I used to love this game and even though the scenes are much more varied and fun to do its still cost to much to buy items. Yes I know that you earn coins by entering your designs and voting and winning etc but unless you buy coins you pretty much can only enter the creative designs and now I see even these are not as freely creative as they usually are with most items locked and also the customer request items being overpriced. It would be good for a whole collection of items to be free to use the whole time just for fun. You can lock up the flash stuff for the rich people and let us poor folk use a pile of stuff just to do what this game should be about which is having fun using our imagination and limited skill set all for fun fun fun. Please. Anyway I'm leaving. I'll come back in a few months to see if anything has changed. Thanks. Bye.

My SAD, but very true, review….

This game used to be a five star game, but sadly it’s changed for the worst, putting players into categories, and making things far too expensive. One cannot play for enjoyment anymore, as it’s become a job to maintain your status, otherwise you fail & fall back a category (even losing the things you’ve unlocked and paid for). If you suffer from high anxiety, this game is NOT for you. If you work full time, or part time, or only spend an hour or so playing games in your spare hour or so of your hectic lives, then this game is NOT for you!! I repeat - NOT FOR YOU!!!
Was once so much fun, now it’s a JOB!!!

Going downhill season by season

I used to really love this game. You could have even called me obsessed. I had 3 accounts, each of which I bought a season pass for as well as occasional token/gold packs. But over time the game just gets worse and worse. Challenges locked down so all the designs just look the same and the creativity has gone. Poorly rendered and repetitive challenges. Then a shorter season. That I can handle - an easy way to increase revenue for the developers. But one of the great things about this game was that you could always have a perfectly reasonable playing experience as a free player. Now with the release of the latest season they have significantly decreased the prizes free players can get, and while I was going to purchase a season pass for my remaining one account (dropped the other two last season due to the issues mentioned above), I will not support such a terrible move by the developers. This is terrible optics. Also, they have an official Facebook page where the moderators ban you for pointing out that “ask the developers” is unprofessional. Bye Redecor, it’s been fun and I really did think you were the best in market but this game just keeps going downhill and I will not be spending another cent. Edit: I just noticed they’ve replied to my review which they clearly haven’t read. I uninstalled at the start of season 17 and don’t plan to change that.

Declining enjoyment

Have been playing this game since the start of 2020 and over time it has become less enjoyable and more and more anti player! Since being sold to the current developer/owner it is the worst it’s ever been, especially with the introduction of levels. It is the only game I have ever come across that forces you to play to maintain your level. If you don’t maintain your level by reaching a certain number of wins in just 14 days they kick you back to the previous level and take away some of the products and rewards that you’ve earned & paid for. It is outrageous.
Please Redecor don’t bother writing a comment on this says “We’re always listening” blah blah blah, because YOU ARE NOT!
