Love the RAV content but app could be better
This review is for the app, not RAV’s content. The iPhone app could be better. It crashes all the time. Sometimes while watching, I find I have to pause to go to another app, and when I return it crashes. It also won’t play through my car’s speakers if I plug my phone in through a USB port. It will come through the speakers if connected to Bluetooth though. I may start listening on the iHeart Radio app now that it’s an option.

Two issues with Apple TV version of app
The app (and RAV itself) is great overall, but there are two problems (at least with the Apple TV version of the app). First is that when going into full screen, the white selection box pops up after a couple of seconds and remains, essentially leaving a constant white border around the picture. The second issue is that Fast Forward is very difficult to get working (requires pausing playback first, and then tapping directional pad several times, though this doesn’t always work reliably) and tops out at a very slow 4X. Both of these issues seem to be isolated to the RAV app, as I have not experienced them on any other apps so far.
Before getting an Apple TV 4K box, I used a Roku Ultra to watch RAV and the Roku version of the RAV app does not exhibit either of these problems.

App problem
I love this content although it will not connect to WiFi and defaults to no sound. I have to turn WiFi off to connect. Also, the sound defaults to OFF. Every time I open the App it takes time to turn on the speaker. Good Conservative news is hard enough to find and access. Seems like these 2 improvements would increase your listeners and use of App.

Stinchfield
I like to watch Stinchfield when I am settling in for the night and I am too busy to watch live. For the past couple of weeks, when I try and watch about two hours after the live broadcast, it only gives me the previous nights program. It was doing this a while ago but it came back to letting watch the evenings episode. I didn’t know if you were aware this was happening. It is only on Stinchfield, the rest of the shows work fine.

I give a 5⭐️ for the shows but NOT the App.
Plain & simple the App has issues casting or streaming to one’s 📺 . It basically leaves me to solely watch on my smart devices versus to the TV, not even giving me an option to do so.
The App just needs better watching functionality, seems old as can be, a simple new age update will suffice, can’t be tough for the Tech guys.

Runs on iOS 12. Yea
I have an iPhone 6 and can only upgrade to iOS 12. Apple last month did send out a security patch so at least they haven’t forgotten us. Way to many developers require iOS 14. Even Apple, to sign into Apple account to download an app on the Apple TV via my iPhone requires iOS 15. Newsmax app requires iOS 13.
