Terrible UI
Used this mainly for testing my students on fingering and note reading.
App either does not respond or is VERY sluggish when trying to change notes. This is not ideal when you only have 30 minutes.O.T.B.1
Good start!
This app is a useful tool for students to use while practicing at home. There are errors for some fingering charts however. I noticed that tubas b natural in the staff was given as 123 when it should only have been 12.Barnbu
Tuba fingerings
I really love this app and I know my kids will love it. I’m going to encourage them to utilize it. I’m a band director and also a tuba player so My only suggestion is to Add the correct primary and alternative fingerings for tuba. For example,Primary fingering for F below 1st line G should be no valves. 2nd line B through Db should be the same fingerings as baritone’s Fourth Line F and Ledger line B-Db. Incredible resource for band students and teachers
I bought this app as a band director, wanting to have quick guide for fingering charts, transpositions, and a tuner. It has all of that in one spot, plus a metronome and dictionary of musical terminology.
I would recommend this app for any band director and definitely for any band or orchestra student. Pop the phone up on the music stand and have the resources of a handful of books and charts at you fingertips.Show lessBenwah5000
Finally this app exists!
This has everything a band wind player needs to survive in an ensemble. I can’t wait to share this with my middle school kids, especially the ones that play transposing instruments. My French horns struggle so much with concert pitch, now they’ll be able to see it as they play. Metronome, tuner, terminology dictionary, fingering chart all in one. Great app!Show lessMrStefano81
Great app, everything you need
Solid app, clean interface and intuitive to use. I’m a band director and the best thing for me is that you’ve got several key tools you need all in one place. Simple design and tons of functionality are turning this into my “go to” tool for rehearsals and lessons.
My two biggest pros...
(1) The metronome is straight ahead and not cluttered with things I don’t need (love the tempo markings associated with set tempos!).
(2) Fingering chart with notes is crystal clear and provides a nice visual reference to show the student.
