Dreadful buggy app
I’ve wasted hours on this, just trying to create an account. Requires 3 sets of email confirmation, that it doesn’t seem to know how to send. Simply doesn’t work.RDawood
Setup is not explained well & no Google home option?
After giving up when I first got the daisy wifi module to finally get my garden lights smart, I’ve now finally managed to work out how to get the app to talk to the control unit. First the MT button must be pressed followed by the M1 (and so on) button associated with the circuit you want to control, once a continuous beep is sounded, you see the switch in the app and it links.
The downside now is that this app doesn’t show up in Google home, the newer Wise ‘Daisy’ does, but this app doesn’t appear to be compatible with the control unit. All very annoying.. at least I can set up timers now. But annoying that the app description claims it’s compatible when in reality it’s not..Show lessAdyrian23
Buggy
The app is glitchy and I was told by my installers that each time I save a timer or make a change I should come out and sync, and then make a subsequent change.
It is now the second time that all of the timers are corrupt (after no action/change from me for a few weeks). On my iPhone, all of them show that they will go/off at exactly the same time. That time is now. Each time I open the app it shows the current time! On my iPad it shows mostly what’s right however all of the sunset offset timers are summarised on the main timer screen as incorrect. As soon as I view a sunset timer, everything breaks.
I often find that certain timers no longer come on at the set time but other timers do. This isn’t just a display issue.
For what is such an expensive installation this app doesn’t meet the mark. My Kasa plugs and switches etc work beautifully and cost a fraction of the price. Maybe take some inspiration from there ?Show lessEgwor
Brilliant Concept Needs Work
Idea is fantastic but crashes too frequently and needs to show on/off status. Connection to Daisy by often fails and says no internet connection when home and connected to wi-fi.T123SSY
Worst app for light control
Having paid a lot of money for the eqpt and having it professionally installed at considerable expense, not to mention a long time on the helpline, the app simply doesn’t work on iPhone. Even with the new update. Try and program the timers and it crashes 100% every time. Will be seeking a large refund from Mr Resistor. Stay well away from this!!! Bought the WiFi daisy and the app is not brilliant as it crashes when trying to input timer mode on the Apple iPhoneChris day 1990
Working with Alexa now
This is has been improved it is working with Alexa and from Alexa you can set sun rise and sun setWise controls
Gradually improving but not perfect yet
Still a few bugs present but app works a lot better with the latest update. Would be nice if app showed you which scene was last selected, ie which lights/ scenes are on or off.
Still doesn’t work with Alexa and still no sunrise/sunset functionality in timers based on your location. Timers should have some random variation option to simulate home occupancy rather than turning on and off lights at exactly the same time each day.
