astrology- great! readers- nope!
I love the astrology portion of this app! Where I’ve gotten frustrated is with the readers. I’m spending about $100 for a 10 minute reading and you won’t answer my question directly? Instead, you’re giving me your own opinion on the situation. I asked about a love situation and got a lot of “read this book about dating” “a guy should be taking you on 4 dates a week you never pay do you understand” no please read on the situation?????? I wanna know what’s going to happen not your opinion on dating????? The only reader that resonated with me was Jess. She answered every question and it all was shockingly accurate. Everyone else beat around the bush and/or wouldn’t give me a direct answer. My final straw was today when I asked about something in my personal life. Her response? “I’m seeing stop signs. Your guides don’t want you asking that right now” GIRLLLLLLL so now what? Do I get my money back??? Idk I’m just frustrated.

so sad they changed the layout
i use to love referring people to this app for the simple breakdowns of astrology and signs! now i dont even know how to navigate the app :( im not interested in live astrology/tarot readings

Can’t even input birthday - “free horoscopes” ??
Just signed up and and the app won’t let me input my birthday properly, it keeps scrolling to today’s date. Very irritating. CHANI not getting competition here.
Ugh
Hate the new UI. Everything that was great about this app has been stripped away.
Unable to access reading
I paid for a reading and then for some reason couldn’t access it, when I went into the reading it was blank on the readers page for several minutes and this happened on several occasions of trying to access. Now my credit has disappeared. Contacted Sanctuary and say engineers are looking into it, not been offered a refund. Not a happy customer. Unable to get what I paid for and they’ve taken my money!

Disappointed, charges first even before reader accepts to resd
I was really disappointed by my experience trying to get a reading from Sylvia on Sanctuary. I paid $145 upfront for a 10 minute reading because her profile showed she was available. However, after I paid, she never joined the session - I just remained stuck in a waiting room.
Eventually, instead of refunding my money, the app gave me a $145 credit and told me to book with a different reader. But I wanted a reading specifically from Sylvia, which is why I paid for her in the first place. Now I can't even seem to use the credit to book another session with her.
I wish Sanctuary didn't charge upfront before the reading takes place. It seems unfair to take customers' money before the service is fulfilled. And when there was an issue, they should have refunded me fully rather than essentially forcing me to pick a new reader. I expected better customer service and transparency from the app. This experience felt misleading and left a bad taste in my mouth. I would think twice before using Sanctuary for readings again.

Highly recommend
Better before the update
They changed so many things and now almost everything you have to pay for, including the compatibility calculator. Gives me one less reason to use the app, I can calculate that on google so thank you.
Frustrated
This has been my go to astrology app for years now. But this latest update is frustrating me. The first few days after I got the save tarot card three days in a row. And now it’s logged me out and I can’t log back in. Disappointed.
UI update
I mush prefer the previous formatting and UI- it was much more enjoyable personally and I would like it if we had the option between choosing this new interface and the old one.
