Description of AppMon

Do you want to pay less for apps on the App Store? Just create your own app wishlist! Add the apps you're interested in to AppMon and wait until their prices drop. Many developers discount their applications, so if you do not mind to wait a little longer for an app to save some money, then this app is for you. You can add apps to AppMon directly from the App Store using the share extension. You can also enable notifications so that AppMon automatically checks for price drops in the background and notify you if one of the apps on your list is on sale. With AppMon you can also check ratings of apps on your wishlist in different countries, which can be useful to you especially if you're an app developer.

Reviews of AppMon

  • Pretty Good App

This app definitely could be improved on. Today I got a notification saying there was a price drop, I open up AppMon app to check the price drop there was a price drop then there was not, a little confusing. The normal price for the app was $9.99 in small print and it showed $5.99 with a line going across the center of it and right underneath there in bigger print it showed $9.99 in white and a red background. I go to the App Store and find the app and there was a price drop, this is on the iphone SE with the latest updates. It’s the same thing with the iPad too. Some other apps there was no problem with a price drop.
  • Handy Way to Watch Prices

I have been intending to post a review on this app for some time but keep forgetting (sadly at almost 70 the memory is not what it once was.)

I often find apps when doing a search that seem interesting but are not quite what I am seeking & see what other apps the developer has. If he/she has another app that interests me but the price is more than I am willing to pay, I add it to the list of apps in AppMon which notifies me if the price drops.

There are a couple of issues with AppMon (I have been intending to try & contact the developer but there is that memory business again.

First, the app tends to crash - especially if you try to scroll up/down after deleting an app from the search list.

Second, it tends to re-add an app deleted from the search list to the end of the search list.

Even with these 2 bugs I feel that the value of the app far exceeds these issues & I am rating it as a 5-star app.
