  • Revised review

    (Based on latest version) So the long-anticipated update happened on December 5, and the latest version, as the kids say, “slaps”. Rock-stable, more detailed graphics, more NPCs (including new ones like witches, which can be friendly or not), and even more generous in-game rewards. Finally manage to complete two quests which always crashed mid-combat. If you like Ingress and Pokemon Go but are getting bored and want something a little weirder, a little more grown-up, you need to try this game. Looking forward to the Kickstarter reboot.

  • Fascinating Mobile Game! More fun than Pokémon GO!

    I was drawn in by the viral advertising (transdimensional street signs) around Toronto. I called the number and it led me to this game. The mob design is equal parts adorable and creepy, and the writing is clever. The gameplay is smooth and well-tested, I haven’t had any bugs yet. Good job you, guys! Keep the updates coming. It makes me get my steps and I have a great time doing it.

  • The best location based game!

    This one is more fun and way better looking than Pokémon Go! The art work is off the charts! It is full of crazy fun details and Easter eggs and the writing is hilarious! I usually skip the text in most games, but this game has me laughing to myself. I only wish there was some way to send money to the team that created this awesome GPS fighting quest mash-up beauty.

  • Really interested to see where it'll go!

    I find myself fairly intrigued on where the game will go! The occult/magic vibe has me curious, though the gameplay is still similar to other location based games like Pokémon Go and Harry Potter (the location ones I've played) where stuff will pop up depending on you moving to places. So yeah, you can't walk places unless you're actually walking (@other reviewer confused about moving) since it's based on real world location.

    Since the game is only soft launched, I'll hold back on more judgement until more is there. But it is fairly limited in character customization which is one of the things I really get into to relate to the world, and there's yet to be any multiplayer interaction (which I think is important to feel really part of the world).

    Lux Arcana, thanks for the nice feedback. Character customization is something we've been working on a lot the last couple weeks based on feedback from you and others. We're going to keep plugging away and making it better. The game differs greatly from other LBGs in terms of the story and missions. If you're still playing, talk to everyone. You never know when they might need help or a mission that advances the story pops up! Hope you stick around and watch the game evolve!
  • Great Game! Small Complaints

    Hello! I saw you guys at Pax Saturday and wanted to try out your game when I got back! Honestly the game play is very nice and the style is adorable! Small complaints about the battling and walking.

    Battling: The Battling has a great premise, but I get really confuse with its features with the most part and sometimes when moving on the grid it won't allow me to move

    Walking: I couldn't figure out how to walk, there were no instructions on how to walk around and still unable to figure out how it works. I tries tapping and swiping but nothing was working.

    TLDR; Great Game, Cute Style, Semi-Difficult controls and walking

    PsychicB, thanks for the feedback. You should try it out next week, we're releasing a big update based on player feedback. With regards to walking, well, the game sort of requires that to really get the best experience, but we also realized we didn't tell people this right at the start of the game, so we adjusted the tutorial. Thanks for the positive feedback!
