Excellent
This app is limited in how many phrases it has, but allows you to create your own sets to study from. This is great if you have some background in French and want to improve your speaking skills. It’s fast paced, all vocal, and will give you proper pronunciation. It’s like the free Rosetta Stone, but instead of learning how to say my cat is black you can learn to say please talk slower, or anything you want!!
Thank you for this app!Show lessHelpful
I like the features of this app. And am pleased that I can create my own list of words. I am disappointed though that the files will not transfer from my iPhone to my iPad.Too American - confusing!
The “English” phrases are based on American. For example, in England we would not say “where are you heading?” We would say “where are you going?” In French “oú allez-vous?” is “where are you going?” From thé verb “Aller” to go. There is no verb “to head”Developer Response
Thanks for your input jobber123! Although according to word reference and other dictionaries there is a verb "to head" and the expressions or phrases associated with it are indeed used in England too. No "US" or "UK" label.
