Description of Posifocus

The Posifocus Productivity app helps you not only organize all of your obligations and responsibilities, but it helps you get in the right state of mind to stay focused on what is most important and be exceptionally productive with your time. So rather than just surviving the daily grind, you will be thriving in a life full of purpose and meaning! Here’s how it works: You start off by listing things your grateful for in your Gratitudes Log. From small things like the smell of the flowers to enormous things like the health of your family, being grateful is the ultimate key to positivity and happiness. The best part about Gratitudes is that the more you list, the happier you become… because, simply put, grateful people are happy. Once you’re in a mindset of positivity, you’re ready to list out your Priorities. Similar to Life Goals, Priorities are the most important things we want to devote our time and attention to. Things like Spirituality, Family, Friends, Work, and Health, just to name a few. The trick here is to order these Priorities from Most Important to Least Important and then stick to this order. Because while unproductive people try to “balance” their priorities, productive individuals “set” their Priorities and then “keep” their Priorities. With your Priorities set, you can now start to identify Projects that will contribute positively to each of your Priorities. For example, if Family is one of your Priorities, potential Projects that would contribute to a healthy Family could be a Camping Trip, a Backyard Swing Set, a Beach Vacation, and Weekly Game Night. Then, within each of your Projects you can establish a list of Tasks that need to be accomplished so that the Project can be completed. For example, before we head out on a Camping Trip we need to get a Tent, Sleeping Bags, a Cooler, Bug Spray, Firewood, a Bluetooth Speaker, Hot dogs, Beer, and Marshmallows. Oh yeah, and ice! But before we do any of that, we actually need to reserve a campsite. As a matter of fact, that should be the first thing we do so lets move that to the top and actually mark it to be done today. And you know what, I’d rather have Brats than Hot Dogs, so lets edit that. And the speaker is a bad idea, so let’s delete that. Now we’re all set! The benefit of having all of your Tasks associated with specific Projects that correlate to your life’s Priorities is that you no longer have a ToDo List full of random, wayward, and meaningless tasks that don’t help you accomplish your goals. Instead, everything you spend time doing is now part of a greater system that is directly geared toward making sure you are spending all of your time on the things that matter most! Next up is Relationships. Relationships is where you can keep track of all the people you want to spend more time with. Because life can get pretty hectic, we often find ourselves losing touch with some of the people we care about the most. But with Relationships, you’ll never again have to say “I can’t believe it’s been that long since we’ve seen each other”. Just list the names of the people you want to stay in contact with and then simply log every time you connect with them. Then, the Posifocus app will keep track of how long it’s been since your last contact, reminding you to invest your time and attention in the people as opposed to in the silly things that tend to distract us. Last up is Today’s Tasks where all of the Tasks we marked for Today are stored. And there is the Reserve Campsite Task from our Camping Trip Project we made earlier! So, if you’re looking to organize your life and stay constantly focused on the things that are most important to you, download the Posifocus app now and give your life a productivity boost!
