Don’t Waste Time or Money on XP-55 Ascender!
If you play this game, don’t waste your time or money trying to get an XP-55 Ascender! It is a horrible choice for game play. Even amped up it is far inferior to the F-100 Super Sabre which is supposed to be a weaker plane. I have not been able to clear a single level with the XP-55. Not one. It’s wingmen’s rate of fire is lame, even when expanded to 5 stars. HORRIBLE PLANE! Do not be temped to buy it even if the price drops to $27.00! You are better off trying to get the F-100 maxed out.
Also, if you expect to get anywhere with this game, be prepared to spend $$. You won’t get far for free.Show lessckaiserca
Ad crazy
Watch an add to get x4 coins - doesn’t work (30 seconds of my life wasted each time) watch an ad when your plane blows up so you basically get an extra life with your current plane - works 10% of the time (might as well just bring out your backup plane as that’s pretty much the option you’ll get so don’t waste time watching those ridiculous adverts where people burn fish with lava)
Watch an ad to get the treasure chests (works 5-10% of the time)
Other issue is that the 24 hour timer restarts but your challenges don’t.Show lessonly here to moan
Don’t bother
Played this game with my boy for a few weeks and for some reason planes and upgrades, which don’t come easily, keep disappearing? Really annoying, especially for my lad! Already deleted on my phone and about to delete from my iPad. Doesn’t make sense they managed to make it run better in the 80’s than they can now!Show lessapp-le man

Good, but ads don’t provide promised benefit
Biggest complaint is that they advertise that watching a 30 second advertisement will get you gems or gold. In my experience you receive that gift less than half the time. Assume it is a designed bug to make users watch more ads. Otherwise, an enjoyable game.Cahris87536
Still a classic after all these years
As a teenager (many moons ago now) my best friends Mum owned a video arcade (1980’s) which we spent many an hour in & this game was always my all time favourite & it still doesn’t disappoint.Glewy74
Very glitchy
Game play is good and fun but so many very frustrating glitches that never get fixed and there seems to be no way to report the issues. Two main ones I experience are in: P vs P - constantly get opponent failed to load. The most frustrating is in watching adds - constantly watch adds and don’t get credit for it or rewards sometimes have to watch 4 or five adds to get credit for one!! Glitches with watching ads
Gameplay is cool, but you’re encouraged to watch ads for extra gold and gems, but sometimes you get awarded nothing for watching the ads. Sometimes instead of watching 10 ads you end up watching 20 to collect items. Completely frustrating. Fun Game / Horrible Ads
A classic game brought back to life. Game play is a ton of fun.
The PvP piece of the game as a global dimension that is quite challenging.
The piece that is horrible and needs serious work are the ads. You have to watch ads to get gems which equates to the purchase of additional aircraft and upgrades. It’s supposed to be 10 ads but you have to watch 30-40 ads to get it to acknowledge you’ve watched 10. Either intentional for financial reasons to charge advertisers per view or their programming skills are sub par.Show lessMuzzleFlash001
