There’s issues that need addressed
Over all this is a fun game. Just like the one I played growing up in the 80’s, in which I pumped a lot of quarters into. There is a few issues I have though.
1. The dog tag charger doesn’t charge when I’m done playing. When I come back to play the game, I’ve got the same amount of dog tags as I did before. To get the full amount of tags I have to restart my phone to do so. I shouldn’t have to do that!!
2. The Quest list doesn’t reset when it says it’s going to.
3. The Assault and Intercept modes doesn’t reset either.
Please fix these bugs. I really don’t want to abandon this game. 1942 as always been my favorite arcade/video game. I really want to give this game 5 stars.Show lessCopper River
No control over firing. Give us the original game.
Am I the only person who wants to have control over when to fire? The guns fire constantly. All you do is move your plane around the screen while it endlessly fires.
I have played the original arcade game and this setup takes all the fun out of it.
There is no reason for the developers to “upgrade” the game. Simple retrofit the original game and give us that. There is a reason why it was so popular.Show lessGinger1035
Old school is best
Use to play this 25y ago, works well on phone. Some levels are quite hard, which is good. I liked the old version but think this new version is better.Timshepherd
The only way is to pay
After the first 10 rounds, you might as well just delete the game or pull out your wallet.
The length of time it takes to earn any new planes or weapon strength is ridiculous. Daily rewards barely help, and just repeat. They should increase the longer you play.
This game is really fun in the beginning. It's a shame that they make it so hard to progress. I get it that they want to make money. Just wish it wasn't so impossible to progress without paying $$$Show lessGamereviewer1968
Not seeing my upgrades???
Been playing for about a week and its a cool game and I enjoy playing it but I've noticed that the "parts" I've collected to unlock new planes haven't been registering... It shows I've unlocked about a fifth of what I've actually unlocked which is pretty disappointing....hope you guys fix this issueShow lesstheluke1010
Don’t bother.
Unless you like spending lots of money and/or watching 4 hours of ads a day for little more than table scraps, this game wouldn’t be for anyone. You literally have to watch dozens of 30 second ads for the “freebies”. But the problem is you only get credit for watching every other ad or every third ad. And the rewards for the hours of ads you’d watch each day will take years to accumulate enough to advance.
Update: started tracking. Watched 96 ads (mostly 30 second ads) got credit for 31.
In general I would have enjoyed the game but due to the fact it takes 3x+ ads to get the credit for watching them and the rewards for the ads should be 3x+ better, not only am I deleting, but I’m so annoyed I’m writing a review for the first time.Show lessEternally disappointed
Good but...
Be prepared for Ads galore! 2/3 time will be watching ads!!
Pros:
-fun
-plenty of levels & difficulty
-ability to level up aircraft
-ability to trade coins/gold for gems
Cons:
-Ads, ads, ads
-Bugs on higher levels
-switching easy, hard, crazy will show inaccurate objectives
-inaccurate makes higher level objectives unobtainable...unless you spend for better aircraft
-weapon damage output inaccurately varies (ie spread weapon more effective at higher level than the one previously completed especially in crazy level)
-do not like enemy aircraft attacking from bottom, where finger is in way for you to even counterShow lessTnbplus2
Fun but...
Fun but the game still needs some improvements. It appears they fixed level glitches but they haven’t fixed the ad glitches. You have to watch X number of ads for a chest or to get gold or what have you but let’s say that number is 10. Be prepared to watch 15-20 because they don’t always register.Player824982

Level 12 and 17 in crazy mode final boss not even appear and no 22 in hard mode in final show down - only aircraft keep going alone and game never stip - it is bug - where crazy mission can not be completed but new patch fixed itdriver19191011
Ruined by August 2019 “upgrade”
This WAS a great arcade game, but the recent “upgrade” has rendered it unplayable - The final “boss” plane on levels 12, 17, 22, 26 and 29 gets stuck at the side of the screen so it is impossible to complete these levels. Level 37 has no enemy planes so it also cannot be completed. The Assault and Intercept games do not actually “reset” after 24 hours so you can only play them once! There is no point playing this game until these glitches are fixed...Show lessDar1942
