Worth Checking Out
This is an update from a previous review that was extremely negative, which had to do with in-app purchases that disappeared due to a developer update. As frustrated as I was, I can say I was just as pleased that the devs did everything they could to rectify the situation through the communication channels I was able to reach them by. It's nice to know the makers stand by their product and are willing to provide 5 Star service to their customers.
With that said, the game itself is fun. It's a different style of a matching game that I was not previously familiar with. Yes, as some reviewers have noted, you can expect a little bit of a grind as far as progression if you don't intend to spend any money in the game. But you can see progress at a fair pace if you just stick with it and apply some strategy to the puzzles. Plus, the ability to upgrade the values of gems you remove is a fun touch and helps speed up your progress. And oh yeah, the art is fun too if you appreciate anime/Bishoujo style works.
After some initial frustrations, I can say I find this game enjoyable, and recommend it as something worth checking out regardless of whether you choose to invest a couple bucks in it or just want to play at a freemium and leisurely pace.

Fun But Could Be Better - Updated
It’s a fun game, though there is too much pay to play, and the energy levels are low, I wouldn’t mind seeing energy levels increase while you progress. But now the game won’t open for me after the update. After taking the advice of uninstalling and reinstalling it, it goes work, but now all my progress is lost! Not happy at all

Just downloaded the lastest update and it started my account from day one! All the time and MONEY wasted. Better get fixed with compensation!

Still Buggy
When I first started the game, I really enjoyed it. I expected the long grinds for gold and slightly longer than normal wait times to regain energy, but the mechanics of the game I enjoyed. What I soon found out, was that there is no way to save your profile. If the game bugs out and you have to delete the game and redownload it (like I did) you have to start from the beginning. Anybody this happens to also loses anything you spend real money on (which I also did), and there’s no way to restore purchases.
While I only lost out on $1 for the very initial starter deal, I would have been more outraged had I lost more for buying larger packages.
Would have rated higher, but that bug really causes some issues with desire.

Too hard to be enjoyable.
I understand that the premise of games like this are for it to be hard after a while, but it gets too hard too fast. After about the 3rd or 4th girl, the games gets dramatically harder, especially after their 3rd or 4th dates. The amount of time it takes to upgrade skills I’m this game are made nearly impossible with how little coins you receive right off the bat and later in the game. Not to mention, with the dates being nearly impossible after you finish all five of the main, and need to repeat them for item unlock, actually getting those items are very hard. With upgrades with the girls, with the little amount of gems you can find, it makes that feature useless, unless you’re willing to spend over $20-$50.

Try using all the opportunities the game offers to progress. Talk more to the girls to earn coins and improve your skills. Good luck!
Looks like a good game but...
As soon as i was trying to log onto the game i got to the loading screen on the start with the three girls and the title but the loading profile button is always there and it never actually lets me play.
i have had the game on for a day straight now and this has not changed, i don't know if it is just mine but it won't let me play... Looks like a good game though.

Good start but absolutely needs adjustments
The progression in this game is completely unviable without spending ridiculous amounts of money. I spent around $20 on beginner packages to boost score multipliers and what not, yet I still found myself reaching a difficulty spike about three hours in. The amount of points the game requires you to earn to beat every level increases each time you get a win, making farming for certain required collectibles absolutely awful. This mechanic alone stifles progress more than anything else.
My only other complaint is the way the different girls are handled. They are all presented with their own (very similar) personalities, but when it comes down to talking with them, their character simply ceases to exist. This problem is only emphasized by the fact that most dialogue options are totally neutral statements/ questions, so when the girl gets angry for simply missing the “correct” choice, it comes across rather harsh and makes the girls seem moody and unlikable.

I like the game, it seems like you need to pay to win but if you play for 10 minutes once per day you’ll progress fine.
However after the most recent update the app refuses to open, it has opened only once since the update and it will dot on the loading screen for upwards of 30 minutes. Please fix this issue or offer a solution, thanks

Upset
This game was quite fun to play albeit becoming rather difficult without having to pay for coins etc to allow you to get the scores on dates. Since the update, the game now won’t load at all as it just keeps saying ‘loading resources, it may take a few minutes...’ I left it on to load overnight and it’s still not loaded, thus I’m rather disappointed with the app.

Fun Puzzle Game, Disappointing Rewards
So this game could have been better developed or thought out. The puzzle mechanic to this game is pretty bland but what makes me give this game a low rating is the rewards. These “Girls Selfies” are very soft core and not that appealing. Yet the advertisement I saw on this game showed that you could some how “erase” a woman’s clothing after playing a puzzle. Now, had this game actually been developed right, I would have shelled out some money in order to keep playing. But as it is, this game simply isn’t worth anyone’s hard earned money. Next time, game developers or anyone higher up reading this; If your going to make a game called “Passion Puzzle”, how about you actually give your customers better drawings or avatars to look at. Rather than some cheap art that a middle schooler could do. Step up your game or be left behind by REAL GAME DEVELOPERS who actually deserve our money.
