Excellent Flash Cards
I am using Flash Card Max to study for a certification exam, and they have really helped me to significantly streamline this process! The cards are not only easy to set-up, but they also have useful functionality to quiz yourself. And of course I find it as an added bonus that I have the cards on my iPad and iPhone - for on the go studying! Win-win for me all the way around!

Freezes
It will lock up and freeze on certain decks. Not sure why. Have to force quit. Overall simple and effective. Just need to fix that bug.

favorite flash card app
With the new update to Quizlet making me pay for premium, I was looking for a good flashcards app for free. After downloading a countless ammount of apps, none of which were free. I gave flashcard max a shot, AND I LOVE IT. Not only is this app free, but most of the simple things you would have to pay for Quizlet to do, are FREE IN THIS APP. As a biology major, I love being able to sort my cards into folders and decks and add images to my flash cards. I've recommended this app to others and they all loved it too. The developer did a great job on this app and I have a feeling that I will be using this for the remaining school years ahead

Subfolders
The app is perfect, its free, no ads, its basic and does exactly what I want. BUT it doesnt allow me to make subfolders to properly organise my flashcards.

This is a great App! i really like how you can take a quick screen shot and ad it to your cards for reference. I wish there was a way to chrink the screen a little mooe though so that I can read and make cards at the same time on my laptop. Other than that this is super simpe and easy to use! Fantastic App!

Really top notch!
This little App is by far the best free solution out there!
The only qualm I have with it is the inability to share directly with my phone. I have to first export, then share.
If there could be a share option that directly opens the apple share menu so I can airdrop, that would be awesome.

great study tool
It has definitly helped me
Great for a free app
I like this app a lot because its simple to use and its free. This is a lot of effort for an individual and his efforts should be commended.
Pros
* free
* easy to use
* can edit on desktop and copy to an IOS device
Cons
* On an IPad, the font size is very hard to read for those who are getting older in age, or have poor eyesight. Next point is related.
* No clear way to set the font size in both the Desktop app for all cards. It can be done per card but this is cumbersome the more cards are available in a deck.
* Syncing between desktop and ipad is cumbersome and manual. It has to be manually exported to iCloud drive then imported into the portable device from the iCloud drive, in my case this is an IPad. Importing from Google Drive doesn't seem to work.
* Import & Export doesn't automatically retain the sections. The sections have to be manually created on the Ipad.

* When learning languages, (in my case Koine Greek), there doesn't seem to be a way to add audio or video.
* Id would be nice to have a way to screenshot an image directly into the app, rather then saving it to disk then dragging it into the app.

LOVE THIS APP
This app is 10x better than paying for Quizlet in my opinion. Pictures come up clear and crisp, and you can add up to 3 images! You can also note whether you answered right/wrong and wrong answers will automatically cycle back through after you answer a few more cards.
