Description of CrossPoint

CrossPoint will Simplify Your Smart Life! Supported platforms: - SmartThings - Tesla - Alexa - Wink - Insteon - More to come! A sea change has come to smart device control. CrossPoint connects smart devices across platforms and allows users to quickly schedule complex tasks with easy to use menus. Follow the movements of your children, employees & loved ones - and initiate device actions - using location, movement & speed based rules. Before CrossPoint, smart devices were islands, with each product family requiring separate apps, log-ins and workflows. CrossPoint exists to be a one-stop solution that connects previously incompatible devices and organizes them into an intuitive system where users can run multi-step operations that deliver the promise of automated device ecosystems to your home or business. “CrossPoint what is the status of my home?” CrossPoint: “In ‘my home’, the air conditioning is on, the temperature is 74 degrees; the most recently activated sensor - living room motion - was activated 24 minutes ago; all switches are off, except ‘living room light’; all doors are closed, except for the ‘back door’; the garage door is closed.” With CrossPoint you can quickly get your devices working together to accomplish amazing things - without needing to be a programmer. Add a CrossPoint in our app to connect your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and engage our voice control system. Add more CrossPoints to join Wlnk, another iPhone or iPad and even your Tesla to create a framework of platforms that can interact with each other. With a little setup, location, movement, speed, voice, time and rule-based actions can trigger devices. Use CrossPoint's device and rule grouping features to set up complete environments that come alive when you are home, or about to arrive home. Confirm that your child is at school using CrossPoint GPS’ map feature — and receive notifications on their progress home. Find if your elderly parent went to their physical therapy appointment by asking CrossPoint for their history report. Learn if your young driver is exceeding the speed limit you set, is going outside their agreed boundaries of travel, or visiting locations that are simply off limits. Check whenever you like on the location of your tracked devices using your iPhone, iPad or PC. Get notifications sent to you when tracked devices arrive or depart a designated location, exceed a designated speed, are stationary for too long a time or if a battery level is getting too low. End worrying about the operational state of your smart devices with our status reporting feature. Receive voice and audio reports of location, movement, daily travels, device status and more. CrossPoint is free to download and use. Reliable and Secure: CrossPoint supports two-step authentication to safeguard your systems.

  • Works great with SmartThings hub!

This app is what I have been looking for to control my SmartThings hub. The combination of GPS, rules and voice control is what the SmartThings app should have had. I give this one 5 stars...
  • Looks promising

The smart things setup requires a few steps but now that I have it working the app is really powerful. Rules to trigger notifications based on repeated sensor detections are great for avoiding false positives. The phone based gps triggers integrate well with that.
