Hi Poppers! Hope you and your family is staying safe, and if you're going through tough times maybe we'll be able to take your mind off it for a bit! In this update I fixed a couple bugs and am prepping to release a local multiplayer mode so you can play with your friends and family anywhere in the world! Bugs fixed: - Removed the 9 lock issue that kept popping up - Fixed the Discord and Twitter links at the bottom - Shifty mode should now work as intended (please let me know if you see any issue with it) Take care! Hi Poppers! It's multiplayer time!!! That's right. We've been putting out these updates left and right and finally the multiplayer mode has been substantially improved in all aspects! We solved matchmaking which up until now had a pretty substantial issue. We improved the lobby and players joining matches. We vastly improved the visuals in the game, and now they're more in line with the rest of the levels. The background animation is thrillingly reactive too! Each time you jump up a position the particles will speed up! We also fixed the end cards so you can now see your lock animation when you get 1st place, as well as redesigned and much simpler end cards that explain your rewards! So hop on in and try multiplayer and challenge some friends! And that's not all, we also made some improvements to the game as well including: - fixed an issue with iPads where the screen wasn't responding to taps on the right side of the screen. - increased the frequency of the 9 lock reward panels since people are really digging it! Next up, we'll be working on squashing some bugs. Particularly the continue button in Shifty Mode and hats giving duplicates. Special thanks to one of our fans for writing in to us with super detailed descriptions of bugs so we could track them down. It'll take a little bit more time to solve them, but we're on it! Hi Poppers! Another update here, and just in time for the weekend! After getting the new inventory in the last update, now we can do some pretty cool things :) Soooooo ... we made a new reward game! Every ten levels in Classic, Shifty, and Memory mode you'll see a new mini game! It's a panel with 9 colorful prize locks! We always had rewards adding every ten levels (that's what the green bar is at the top!) but we wanted to make it fun and exciting! You'll be able to pick 3 prize locks for free, and since we're not a fan of dubious "loot boxes" here's the breakdown of the prizes: There are 9 locks and 9 prizes distributed randomly: 3 prizes with 5 stars 3 prizes with 10 stars 1 prize with 20 stars 1 prize with 40 stars 1 prize with a random hat! That's right! There's a random hat in every reward pop up! If you want to pick an additional 3 reward locks, you can by watching a 30 second ad (which supports these super amazing updates)! Soooo ... if you want to read more of these super awesome patch notes be sure to watch 5 million ads for us ;) We also fixed a few an issue where players who turned off sound and/or music in the settings menu would have it turned back on after an ad. Very sorry about this, not our intention to startle or annoy anyone who turned off the sound. We put in a couple of lines of code that will fix that. That's it for today! Hi Poppers! Welcome to another exciting installment of Pop the Lock 2 Updates! So what's new here? So so so so sooooOOOOOOooooOOooooo much!! When we first released Pop the Lock 2, our team spent a lot of time making the coolest animated 3D hats but we now realize many players couldn't find them, putting them on, or seeing them in all their coolness. So we built an entirely new hat inventory! It's accessible in the main menu and in regular gameplay. See all the hat's you've unlocked and now, see all the one's you've yet to ... unlock (pun absolutely without a doubt intended). You can also play the lock animation in the inventory screen, read up on the punchy descriptions, and spin the lock around to see the lock from the best angle! Annnnnnd, that's not all we did - even though that definitely took a lot to build :) Here's some other fun things we fixed (minus the fun part): Some players mentioned that you could still tap and play the game while a new level was animating so we fixed this so the level will only be playable when it is not animating :) We fixed an issue where the sound and music from the game was playing at the same time an ad was playing. Don't worry we fixed it, so now when the ad for Castle Smasher RPG-TCG-MMO-FPS Battle Game EX+ plays you'll be able to hear it in all it's amazing glory uninterrupted! Reformatted the Hat Lock opening screen so it's easier to use, faster animation, and pops up the lock card of the hat you unlocked. Fun fact, this also fixes the Calendar Reward hat opening screen that was not appearing in the gameplay screen. Hmm, did we do anything else in this update?? Probably, but that's probably enough for now. In the next update we'll be adding in some new rewards and focusing on the multiplayer section so it's hyper polished, super fun, and really really stable!! Thanks so much for playing! Hi Lock Poppers! We have been cooking up a super huge update :) Thank you for all your feedback these past few weeks. We've done 11 updates since launch (wait ... really?) based on all the juicy feedback you send us through emails, discord, and reviews! With this update we wanted to take Pop the Lock 2 to the next level :) We started by building a new Main Menu that's easier much easier to navigate (yay vertical scrolling) and is waaaaay more alive and exciting. A lot of people said they didn't even know we made a 10 player multiplayer mode because it was hidden in a separate menu. Well it's all now front and center. There's a ton of other updates me made to the entire game. If you can't sleep right now - read on! This is a perfect way to lull yourself to bedtime, ha! Sounds and Animations: Now gameplay animations will speed up the closer you get to beating a level and the sounds increase in pitch too! As if this game didn't get you hyped up before, now it really reacts to where you are in the game and reacts! More to come on this too in future updates. Hats Inventory: Many of you mentioned that you wanted a better way to find the hats you've collected, so now you can see all the hats in the game, which ones you have, which ones you don't, and equip them in all one spot! Super easy. We'll be making improvements to this screen in future updates as well! Multiplayer: We really feel like the Multiplayer mode is gonna be a fan favorite, but many people commented that they couldn't find it, and when they did, it was kinda confusing. So we've made the Multiplayer mode easily accessible and waaaaaay simpler. And yes, we'll be making more updates to the multiplayer mode too! Other improvements: lots of bug fixes - no more locks appearing broken when transistioning back to the main menu, the game smoothly starts up on the last level you were on, we cleaned up the top header in the gameplay making the UI more responsive, centered, and easier to read, and we simplified the IAP store too! Is that it? Noooooooope, there's a whole lot more too, but you're probably a sleep by now and I'm just talking to myself!!? Hey wake up!!! Hi Lock Poppers! Thanks so much for playing Pop the Lock 2! We are so excited so many people are loving this game and we are so excited to bring you another update with more improvements :P We've heard a lot of feedback on the ad placements in our game and we want to assure you that with your feedback and support, we are committed to making a game that you can enjoy while supporting our team. We know that means gameplay first, so we've overhauled when ads pop up in this version, and we think this will make it a much more thoughtful ad implementation for you, our fans. And that's not the only thing you'll notice that's different. We've also streamlined the start of the game so you can get to the game faster (no more pink bubble start screen). Now, Pop the Lock 2 will jump right back in to where you left off. This means when you're standing in line, sitting on the train, or ducking work in the bathroom you'll be able to hop back in and play a faster, quicker version of the game. Finally, we're going to improve the visuals on the gameplay and improve the multiplayer portion of the game in subsequent updates. So! Hiiiii Lock Poppers! Here's a new update for you all. We're working round the clock to add more and more and more features to this game to make it the best game in town. In this update we tweaked a bunch of animations to speed things up a bit more. We also fixed SHIFTY mode! * the crowd erupts into wild cheers * Just kidding. Thanks for being patient while we worked out the bug that was placing dots waaaaay too close for comfort :D We also added a "Remove Ads" and "Star Doubler" purchase so you can remove the ads, collect twice as many stars in Singleplayer levels, or ... both! Finally, there is a new "Starter Pack" available too! This will get you a bunch of stars, a bunch of gems, and one of our favorite hats - the cow ufo hat! Alright! That's everything for now. We realize there were some ads playing that were unskippable and waaaaay too frequent during regular gameplay. Thanks to all of you who let us know by leaving a review.
