  • Disgusted with DataWhores

    I lack the experience of the other reviewer, ThinkingMonkey, in the area of technology. That’s okay because I do not need experience in technology to see I have been fooled by the DollarWorshippingDataWhores once again - it makes me ill to open my privacy app and see my cute little brand new cam is communicating with…FACEBOOK. Grrrr. I loathe FACEBOOK and now I loathe that UGLY little camera.

    This cam app is not alone in the dirty act of REMOVING MY DATA AND SHARING IT WITH FACEBOOK ((Is THAT why I had to let you access ALL my photos??)) and soon I will be seeking a replacement for an online banking app to replace the cute little bear who spies as well. Dang…ya can’t trust CUTE, and ya can’t trust SPIES.

  • Frustrating

    app works fine quirky but finding a video or pictures is a mess. It will only use UTC which is fine but the video order and alarm order you can't find anything its horrible. It should be able to set to your timezone of choice. I have a paid plan and still struggle to find anything for a particular time.

  • Pure trash. Do not buy.

    Setup is very complex and will fail many times until (or if) you finally get it to work. I’m a computer technician and have set up a Linux home media server easier than this. Finally, the app has ridiculous permission requests. It asks to have permissions to your location, photos (though you can set this to write only and deny reading photos), your contacts, and more. You can deny the request for your location data but that only initiates a barrage of pop ups insisting that your phone/app/camera network combination won’t work without it. Beyond ridiculous. I got everything working but on second thought decided that the invasiveness and privacy violations weren’t worth a stupid wi-fi camera. Their Privacy Policy link is on this page. Read it yourself. Returned this item to seller.
