While using the app for a time trial; when I attempted to attach athlete names to recorded times, no names appeared in the drop down. I had to go back later and create a new race and manually enter the times, and then attach the names....

Sorry for your frustration. As you mentioned, the roster needs to be created first before athlete names will appear. The app was design for coaches to be able to quickly chose existing athletes rather than manually type names in at the finish. There is a slight learning curve when it comes to setting up the app prior to the race, but after taking some time getting things configured it could possibly save hours of work in the long run on the back end. The video tutorials in the info page of the app will be useful to watch. Good luck.Doesn’t work
I’ve tried everything I can to get the app to work correctly. When I time an event and try to assign an athlete it tells me that I need to tell it the event first. But it correctly lists the event already and I’m never able to select anything. It then automatically assigns a name, which is the first name on the list. But I was never able to select anything/anyone.
The app has potential, but the functionality simply doesn’t work correctly. Bugs need to be fixed.Show lessmjd63

I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. I'm assuming you've watched the tutorial videos that I've linked below? If you contact squadtiming@gmail.com with more details about the bug you're having I'll troubleshoot it further. Currently the app has had hundreds of users and thousands of events recorded without any mention of this functionality problem, so I'm a bit perplexed.
