Fun updated combat to the genre, but not a creature collector
The gameplay of this game is actually incredibly fun and engaging. It feels like if Pokemon masters stamina system mixed with the original gameplay of Pokemon. At first you assume it’s a simple rock paper scissors system for counter moves, but you realize there are many ways to respond to your opponent. Is your pendent running a mainly rush down team? Well you could play the massive critter which dares your opponent to come in and get crushed, or play the elusive archer critter which can attack WHILE dodging. Theres a lot of fun gameplay here. My biggest complaint is the fact it’s progression on leveling critters and progressing areas is purely just Clash of Clans, which just means you’ll hit a grind barrier when you’re critters aren’t high enough level for the next arena. Even getting new critters is a pain, and I’m not sure if it’s somewhat random on the critters you gain. I truly feel like if they made a single player adventure with this type of combat, it would be incredibly fun. The combat is kinda just pokemon combat on a real time action bar with moves that can be responded to. So if you want to try unique combat in the creature collector genre, then this is the game for you.. as long as your fine without the whole creature collecting part.Show lessLittlemac_713

When I first started playing I thought “woah this is really cool!” Then I got addicted and started playing more, and more, and even more! Now I have a team of three pets! This is so fun!petsdabest

The game is really fun and all but the game keeps crashing especially when I’m battling someone so when I come back most of my monsters are dead. I don’t know if it’s a bug or not but may you please fix it I would appreciate it. Thank youTahlia and Jasmine
[SOLVED] Great Game, but I can't load in after the update
Downloaded the most recent update and now the game freezes at 100% loading. Tried closing and reopening, shutting off my phone, and deleting the app. It worked until I signed back into my account then it repeated the issue. Not sure what to do at this point but its extremely frustrating. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, if that helps

I played this game many years ago, and Remember it being fun without remembering why I deleted it(could be space or new phone). Less then a week after I redownloaded it, a new update came out which seemed great until the game got stuck on the loading screen. Nothing including reinstalling and resigning into my account is working. Everytime I open it, it doesn’t move past the loading screen no longer how much time passes. I hope this issue gets solved quick because I was starting to understand the mechanics and enjoy the game again.Show lessADEMOHNAD

Amazing game I love all the creatures it’s like Pokémon but focus more on the battle I really like how over powered dearer syergy can be just 2 request a little ranch to see the monsters we unlocked (that would be amazing maybe some decorations) and maybe a water pig monster other then that amazing worth installingShow lesspigpigpig9

I was playing and it said there was an update! So I clicked update, while in the app and it didn’t bring to the App Store/monster masters app, so I had to go to the App Store myself, I updated it, now the loading screen to get into the game gets stuck at 100% for me. And all I can do is stare at the loading screen. Please fix this, and yes Ik you just made the update and stuff but if you ever have time to fix bugs like these, please do!Show lessMRA52

I am rewriting my review to say that, the developers have done great in advancing the game over the years and it has great potential for a lot more growth. It isn’t pay-to-win - anymore - but you can certainly pay for added fun like skins for the monsters.
I would suggest the developers add in different content or go the way of Pokémon and may different regions and various forms of their monsters that aren’t related to the purchased skins. Add in perhaps monster animations to make them more lively. If you want people to subscribe to their game, you have to keep giving them a reason to subscribe and that’s enhancing the features.Show lessEbweezy

I’d say the game has a really good base, but as others have said.. it gets stagnant fast. The same monsters with the same moves that everyone is using. I also personally find the fact that you lose ranking points every time you lose to be very demotivating. After a couple times of that, I’m not really interested in playing. Why would I try when I rank down anytime I’m paired against someone who’s a higher level than me? You can retort “oh well there’s moves and types to combat everything” like you have to other reviewers, but that isn’t worth it for many players.Show less(((:Amberrr

Hello, thanks for your feedback! We would love to hear your thoughts on how to improve these aspects. For example, giving everyone more monsters may feel like monsters were acquired effortlessly. Also, losing Fame when getting defeated seems logical. What would you suggest instead?
