I’ll save you the headache, skip this purchase. They are asinine to connect, and impossible to keep connected. The developer is Japanese and hired an Indian to develop this. The instructions are broken english, the settings are broken english, the UI is horrendous and the app simply crashes upon startup now.

For the price, they really could be brighter and it would be nice if you could slow the flicker effect.
It’s pretty inconvenient that the bulbs don’t remember their last setting when disconnected from power and default back to red.
The flame effect looks more natural with the standard bulbs too so I think I’ll be sticking with those and returning these.Show lessMetaCharr
Like a charm
No problems at all getting this to work. It took less than 5 minutes to get going. My main problem was my Bluetooth was turned off. Most apps would help you realize that but it worked once I turned that on. The instructions have one problem, they tell you to delete room, it actually wants you to “clear code.” Than enables a fresh connection to control the room selection. Once my connection was established I did not see a blink confirmation, it just started working. Overall great product for the price. My only qualm about the actual product is I wish I could slow the flicker effect. App works fine.Show lesswingfinder
Works for me on iPhone 8 Plus
It took me a couple tries but it worked when I followed the instructions that came with the bulb. Specifically, one must power the light then select match code within 5 seconds to see the light flash twice to indicate a successful Bluetooth connection. After seeing the two flashes I was able to control the bulb via this app. I can change the color. I can make it flicker like a fire (flickering). I can make it steady (normal). I can turn the “fire” upside down (inversion). I can make it fade on and off (breathing). I can turn it on or off and I can dim it.
The bulb and app are fun to use. If the illustration of the flame in the box that the bulb came in matched the quality of the “flame” more closely then I would give the app more stars. Unfortunately the picture on the box is cooler than what the product can actually produce.Show lessLeeGGGGGGGGGG
