Leave a Review Perlego
Very useful, but the app has too many bugs
I love the access Perlego has to many books and as a general reader the app is great. However for more academic use, which is its purpose, this app performs very poorly. The bookmarking in the iPad app does not work at all. Changing from portrait to landscape orientation results in a blank screen that does not re-render or refresh despite resizing the window. Writing notes also results in a blank screen that requires a forced reset of the app. I basically can’t bookmark any pages or take any notes from an iPad, which is a real shame.Show lessExcellent choices but ‘read aloud’ needs work
Really appreciating that some books have ‘read aloud’ on them, but it’s so buggy right now that it’s more frustrating to ‘read aloud’ than it is just to read the book. Looking forward to the day when books that say they have read aloud, do, and when read aloud is less buggy!Developer Response
Thanks for sharing your experience with us and I'm sorry to hear about your issues with Read Aloud. We'd love to look into to this for you. If you haven't already, would you mind emailing us at help@perlego.com , please?Content great
Love the amount of content Perlego offers; app is ok - very glitchy; super slow for making highlights; highlights tab ‘lingers’ on top of text making reading difficult; also a huge battery sucker (compared to Kindle app) when using on iPad; page refreshing is super slow. Overall if you’re looking for an option with access to a lot of material, Perlego is great without the restrictions on content that other apps (ie: Scribd/Everand) have. It has been helpful for accessing resource for MA degree projects.Show less
