The app is not showing me the OEM list price for any wheel? When I purchased the pro edition there were some features that did not work and some of the features worked, but now they are not working? When you chose to start your workflow by taking a photograph of the wheel you wish to identify, the WheelSpotter App visually sorts all 15,000+ wheels in the Hollander Interchange. If your wheel is not in the results, then it is not in the Hollander Interchange or greater than 20 years old.
The threshold for EXPENSIVE is user-configurable. Tap MARKET PRICE on the main screen to navigate to the screen where you can see and select the threshold value for what is EXPENSIVE. On any Interchange Number screen, tap SEARCH THE WEB for the latest price of that wheel.
When you edit your review (e.g., replacing your original questions with these new questions), the date of your review is automatically updated by the App Store.
Regarding your request for new features to be added to the app, these will be taken into consideration, thank you. Our goal is for the app to have the features most demanded by subscribers. the11cheto, thank you for indicating Wheelspotter is a 5-star app, if it were free. The Limited Edition version of WheelSpotter is free and displays the manufacturer part number or manufacturer ident number embossed on the wheel. It cannot display the Hollander Interchange Number, which is trademarked by the Hollander company, because this version is free.
Hollander controls its trademark, the developer of WheelSpotter does not.
The Guide Edition or Pro Edition versions of WheelSpotter display the Hollander Interchange Number and require a paid subscription, but each is available as a three-day free trial offer, so one can try them before being charged.

There are video examples on WheelSpotter.com.When I take a picture of a wheel, wheel spotter app doesn’t even come close to matching my wheel! I’ve tried with several wheels and no success. What is the point? Just call this app wheel Hollander guide, because you will have to filter until you find the wheel you are looking for. I have noticed that wheel spotter shows different interchange numbers than the old school Hollander paper book? Picture quality is poor! This is the 21 century, so why can’t you use quality photos? There are many variations and this app does not always show the different examples whether it’s light grey or dark etc… many wheels are not even listed? I can find interchange numbers for many of my wheels, but not confident that they are correct! This app could be so much better than it is! Overall I’m pretty disappointed!
Great tool for identifying wheels. For more common wheels you may need to use filters to narrow it down, but overall a great product and price point.

Hi Tmpinol, sorry you expected to be able to use a photo for wheel covers, not solely wheels. We’ve changed to App Store page from “Disclaimer:…Visually sort wheels, not wheel covers…” to “Feature to take a photo and use it to visually sort results works for wheels, not wheel covers” based on your feedback, thank you. Scrolling to the bottom of the Filter screen to change the default from Wheel 560 to Wheel Cover 570 will give results for wheel covers. WheelSpotter is regularly updated with every wheel cover in the latest version of the Hollander Interchange for the last 20 years. If the wheel cover on your Toyota is not in the results, will you please send a photo or data about it to support@partspotter.com? I’ll research why not and let you know. /Joe
