Entertaining

As a retail employee I found this game brilliant! I’ve always wanted to play something like this. Only thing keeping this away from a five star is this: I enjoyed this game the most around the beginning where it felt really challenging and really busy, however, I am now halfway through week 3 and it feels like nothing has really happened for a while? What I mean is; at the beginning there were certain events that made each day feel a little different, for example when it was the “big game day” I had to pick special products up for sale that I wanted, I loved that, but right now every day sort of feels the same, im not sure if that’s how it carries on being forever or something is going to happen so I’m gonna carry on because to be honest, I enjoy the routine of each day. Some days should feel more challenging/busy than others, at the moment every day I finish all my tasks about an hour before the day finishes, leaving me with nothing to do, which some days is good, but not every day, it’s good to rush and struggle sometimes. But overall a great little game, recommend it if you work in retail!

Completely in accessible to the visually impaired

Opened the app, all it does is play music. Completely in accessible with voiceover, none of the controls are labeled. Some referred to this as training? Hard to write a review when absolutely nothing on the screen interacts with voiceover. Very excited about the possibility of this app, as the developer makes updates similar to those found in other sym games, I think this has real potential.

Great Game

It is really fun and creative! It’s funny I will “go to work” after work and really enjoy it even after a long day! Really impressive! Can’t wait for the update on levels!!

True to life, but needs more

I have played through four weeks of in game time so far, and while this game can be soothing if you need something mindless to play, it definitely needs some work.

Pros: this game is fairly true to life with a normal retail job (except for having an hour lunch break, which I don’t know any retail job that gives that). Monotony of the job, getting yelled at when you don’t do the right thing and constant interruptions as you try to balance completing work and helping customers, all the way down to trying to fill out the day if you finish your work early and just have to putter around until the end of shift (the dragged out time at the end of each day was an evil touch).

Cons: as a game, there isn’t much here. They may include more later, but right now it has only one area unlocked. Once I figured out the game mechanics, I was able to max out the stats by the end of the first two weeks. Everything after that was just maintaining that level, which didn’t take a lot of work. I kept hoping for something more, and (unless I’m missing something) I don’t think there is more.

Decent for a quick, free mobile game, but the devs need to add more to the gameplay to make it worth our time.

Don’t even work for Asda/Walmart

Why am I playing this game, that is clearly designed for supermarket employees. I don’t know, but it’s a hoot. Especially the Walmart cheer at the beginning of every shift, really makes me part of the team

Dead on

Wow this totally nails a day in the life of a retail employee. I find it interesting and realistic. I would like to see further updates as well that would visit other roles (except cashier). 😉

Welcome to a crash course of what doesn’t happen at Walmart

This game is the expectation but in reality you would never be able to finish all of your tasks with 2 hours to spare because in real life they pull the dms to go work in other areas of the store to make help those dms out. But other then that is pretty realistic as far as working at Walmart goes. My only complaint is how can you stop shoplifters while you are on the force lunch break or during the time your are completing the task you can’t stop it to prevent it. Also I have my sales at +10% and my CFF score is at 102% I don’t think they can go any higher. But my OSCA score will not budge from 98%. I don’t understand why it won’t go higher when I complete all tasks and make the right decisions with 2 hours to spare. Anyone know how?

Accurate for a Sim

It's definitely accurate as far as day to day tasks and drive by notes from managers while you're mid-task. I played and talked to another associate who had just downloaded it and it sounded like we were talking about work so it can be a good training intro to Walmart, too. Ready for the future updates to allow promotions and more challenges so it won't become repetitive... Even though that's pretty realistic, too.

Great App!

I worked at Target, not Walmart, but I can testify how accurate this is to working retail. The constant spills, the expectation of greeting every guest, the annoying managers, everything. But the fact that these got added to the game makes it more realistic and believable, and more enjoyable.

I want more job options though, for right now you can only be the Dry Goods DM. I’d like to try Electronics or something.

10/10 Would Stress over work off the clock again.

This is literally the most accurate and surprisingly entertaining simulator of my job ever. It is super meta and gets you so frustrated greet customer or show a customer where a product is and guard a spill all in the same ten second time frame without violating your pathways training. Or ignoring customers resulting in a CFF penalty.
