Howdy Y'all! It's October... and you know what that means! Time to get back to internin! We got ourselves a small update, mainly we're dishing' out some improved visuals, some spelling corrections, a few tweaks to grave plots here and there, and bumpers are actin' a lil more pinball-like too, if you ask me. I hope you enjoy the changes! See you at the office, Mabel

Howdy interns! What we got here is a bonafide update! So Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and sorry about missing Diwali! I got some great news... We're expanding! There are 6 new grave plots, and 2 new evaluations. Also, corporate has finally sent us that dang tutorial they've been promising. You can try that out anytime. Also, corporate's hit us with some policy changes, so some stuff's gonna be different around here: • Due to insurance reasons, you can only work for 45 seconds at a time. • If you clear spirits quickly, I can grant you some bonus time. • But if you take too long to clear spirits, I'm forced to deduct some time too. Lastly, we're not just crushing spirits, we're crushing bugs too! Frankly, I think the changes are for the best. New interns will have an easier time, and long time interns should be able to get further than ever! See you at work, Mabel

Added iPad support, and more! Including: Graphical upgrades; the credits in the settings section are links to their respective websites; added UI to show when the leaderboards are attempting to load; and added a leaderboard button on the game over screen; and some behind the scenes code getting ready for a new neat feature! Hope you dig it! :)

  • If your on the fence, don’t be anymore.

This game is great. It’s has a nice aesthetic and good humor. The gameplay is fun and addicting, and has a certain charm a lot of games can make. Good job and keep up the good work!
  • Framerate issues on iPhone 8

It’s pretty difficult to play a pinball mechanic when you lose ~⅓ of the frames. Not sure if it’s just my phone or if it was only tested on iPhone X or what, but it’s hard to want to get better when I’m held back by technical issues.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback Casey. I actually built this on my iPhone6s and haven’t heard about frame-rate issues. I’ll see if I can find a friend with an 8 to test it on. Also, I got a big update coming out soon that should improve file size and frame-rate, as well as some mechanic changes. Let me know if you would like to be on the playtest group for the update! -Sam
  • Darn it!

I really wanted to like this. I love pinball games mixed with other genres, but this is just too simple and imprecise and it doesn’t explain what you are doing or why you lose or how you score higher and is lacking in variety. How do you know if you are doing good? Seriously though, I understand the score goes up, but is it better to bounce the “balls” off the creatures or just ignore them and hit the balls into the holes every time. How do you know if you killed a creature if it doesn’t ever die or seem to be doing anything but moving back and forth and bouncing the balls off that hit them? How do you know if one ball is better than the others? How do you know when and why you lose a ball? Why does the game randomly end? Sure it’s probably not random because you get to play for a short and specific amount of time before the game ends without warning no matter how good you at least think you are doing? I understand that there will be new levels daily, but I don’t know anyone who prefers to play only one level instead of a bunch of levels (even if it’s only when they have progressed far enough in a game). If the game is going to remain like it is with only one level (that I could find), please at least leave the old levels available to play as you add new ones. Also, if you need an example of a pinball genre mashup game done right, check out Zombie Rollerz (probably the best pinball game I’ve ever played). Since this game doesn’t have traditional flippers, it could really use the genius aiming technique that Zombie Rollerz has.

Thanks for your review! This is my first solo project for iOS, and I’d love any feedback you could give. Would a tips page that explains mechanics in detail help? If you want to email me anything, head over to threedayweekend.io, you can find my email at the bottom of the page.
