  • Nice looking, good start, needs a few things

I bought this app yesterday and tried it right away, but within 15 minutes we had turned it off and gone back to the cards. Here is why:

    1. Having the entire green background be tap-able to draw cards makes it too easy to accidentally draw a card. You can’t unbreak that egg, so it should require a more deliberate action to draw a card (like tapping on the deck, or dragging the next card up to the drawn area)

    2. Xaxos special ability is a pain with this app. It would work much better if you could order the cards face up then just tap a button to put them back in the draw deck. Better yet, provide a way to drag the drawn/viewed cards back down to specific slots in the draw deck.

    3. Xaxos again... if you have all of the cards face up for his special ability, it is way too easy to cause a full reshuffle. Reshuffling should be a very deliberate action.

    4. Drag and drop would make this a much more robust app, if my position on that was not obvious by now.

Keep up the efforts! This is a very attractive and nicely functional app, but it isn’t all it could/should be at this point.

  • Almost perfect

As a huge fan of Aeons End, this app is almost perfect and much better than trying to constantly randomise 6 cards when playing with 2 players. You can look at the next turn order card and put it back, you can see how many of each card is in the discharge pile. The only element missing (unless I just can’t find it) is the option to examine the turn order deck and put it back in any order. This is the action for two of the mages. Then it would be perfect but this is a small quibble- it’s excellent already and worth 99p.
