Language/keyboard barrier
It is a great app, however, if you have multiple keyboards in different languages (eg latin letters and korean/japanese/etc, it picks up the added language as default and displays the name of constellation in that language. If you have not mastered that language, basically, you are lost. There seems to be no option to change it in the app.

Please do the following: Touch the settings (gear icon), turn on the "Activate name language setting" switch (the sixth switch from the bottom), touch "Set language of name", and touch the language you want to display.

Nice app, quick to install. Lots of options available for fine tuning your search, without incurring fees. Only ever used free app so could not compare to paid version.

Wonderful app! I use it with my 8” dob to star hop for DSO’s.
I wish it could calibrate to align with stars so your could strap it directly to a scope and make it an instant go to rig.
No complaints though! Give it a go - you will love it too.

Exactly what I needed
This sky map shows Messier, NGC and constellations and let’s me freeze a time later in the night so I can plan my imaging session.

Good App, but doesn’t line up
I like the app, but is always off 15-25 degrees left or right. I’m not sure how to calibrate it so it lines up correctly with the actual stars.
no calibration?
I’m liking the app quite a bit in general, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to calibrate it to the actual sky. The sun always appears a few hours ahead of where it really is.
Love it!
I use this map to make me feel closer to the stars and try to remember their names. When l have the opportunity, l use it outside to compare the constellations and it’s accurate. The only negative is that sometimes the names drop out or another aspect. I check settings but it’s definitely the app. I still love it.
