The TK-Doc app offers the following functions:
- Medical advice: Here you can get general information on your medical questions. You can use the live chat to ask your medical question quickly and easily and also share documents with the doctor, such as medical findings or prescriptions. Or call a doctor and discuss your concerns over the phone. Medical advice is available around the clock, 365 days a year.
- TK online consultation: The TK online consultation for adults and children is the first fully digitalised offer of exclusively remote treatment. You have the opportunity to receive medical treatment via video consultation. The doctors decide on a case-by-case basis whether your symptoms are suitable for remote treatment. In addition to diagnosis and treatment recommendations, the treatment also includes the possible issue of a certificate of incapacity for work, a prescription or a doctor's letter.
- Symptom checker: Whether you have a fever, headache or other complaints - with the symptom checker you can quickly obtain information about your symptoms. Simply answer a series of questions and the tool will generate a list of illnesses that best match your symptoms. This allows you to better assess your health problems and prepare for a consultation with a doctor.
- Laboratory value checker: With this self-disclosure tool, you can check whether your laboratory values are too high or too low. You will find out which illnesses may be behind deviating values, which other laboratory values are important in this context, which measures may be necessary and much more.
- ICD search: What does an abbreviation like ‘J06.9’ on your sick note mean? You can find out quickly and easily in the TK-Doc app.
- In addition to the medical terms, the common designations are also displayed. For example, the code ‘J06.9.’ stands for the diagnosis ‘flu-like infection’, or quite simply: a cold. Conversely, you can also display the corresponding code for a diagnosis.
- ePrescription: With the ePrescription function, you can now send your digitally issued prescriptions for medical aids directly to medical aid providers. You can find doctors who issue ePrescriptions in the TK-Doc practice search. You can find medical aid providers participating in the project at egesundheit-deutschland.de. Here you will also find further information on this project.
- Expert advice on dental prostheses: Exchange detailed information about your treatment and cost plan and the proposed therapy with experienced dentists from the TK Medical Centre free of charge.
We are constantly adding new functions to the TK-Doc app - your ideas and comments help us to do this! Please feel free to send us your feedback to gesundheitsapps@tk.de. Thank you very much!
