Good app

The app is really good.
However, every time I try to send my child a letter, I get to the send letter part and it cuts out and sends me to my Home Screen so I can’t send them any more letters.

What’s gone wrong?

Latest release for IOS and it seems to not work at all. Just the cover screen with no menus or anything. It wasn’t the easiest to use before with letters not showing or being updated on the app but now it’s completely gone. Hope it gets fixed but using the website is best for me

Writing a letter crashes

Love the new layout - however trying to write a birthday card or a short note from my phone (iOS 15.3.1) crashes the app!!! Donating via the app works fine but shame the app crashes when trying to send a letter - please fix thanks!

Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry you had to experience this bug, we are pleased to say that we have fixed this issue and you should be able to send a letter to your sponsored child again without any problems on our latest release.

Great App

It’s so great that, at a touch of a button, you can access so much information about the child/ children you sponsor. Letters, project information, current weather and much more. I love it!

Great way to connect with your sponsorship!

I love this app, it’s a great way to connect with Compassion’s sponsorship and love how you can write to your child, pray for them and get updates from Compassion directly.

Brilliant app

Your version 2.7.0 crashes upon opening. I am unable to open the app to report this so I’m afraid it’s by review.

Until this update the app has allowed me to write to my sponsored child and donate and navigate freely.

Update is crashing

The app is fab but the new update is closing as soon as it opens, please have a look at the error

Thank you for your review. We are working to release a new update that will fix this issue entirely, however in the interim we have found that deleting and reinstalling the app fixes this problem. Thank you for using the Compassion UK app, we hope this solves the problem you are experiencing.

Won’t open

I can see I have notifications, but when I click the app to open it and see, it freezes with the first image (child and logo in the middle).

It’s been like this for the last few days...

Thank you so much for creating this app. It makes interacting and writing to your sponsored child so easy. I’m able to see previous letters and get reminders for my sponsored child’s birthday. It’s absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much!!!
