Find out what foods work best for you - based on your individual glucose response. myLevels works with continuous glucose monitors that connect with Apple Health (such as Stelo, Dexcom One+, Dexcom G7, Dexcom G6, Dexcom One). myLevels helps you understand your unique glucose response to food - empowering you with the knowledge to help manage your energy, weight and overall health. SUGAR LEVELS When you eat carbs, your body breaks those carbs to glucose which makes your blood sugar levels rise or spike. When your sugar levels fall from the spike, your body produces ghrelin or the “hunger hormone” which causes cravings soon after eating, which are usually satisfied by something sweet. The higher the spike, the greater the fall. The myLevels app offers you a way to take charge of the sugar rollercoaster and avoid the eat, spike, crash loop. HOW IT WORKS Using data from your continuous glucose monitor (CGM), myLevels analyses how your glucose levels react to the food and drink you consume. Just log your food in the myLevels app and you’ll get personalised food scores based on how your body actually responds. These results create a personalised diet to help you avoid glucose spikes and sugar crashes. BENEFITS OF FINDING YOUR BALANCE myLevels arms you with data from your own body to help maintain balance and avoid the lows and highs of the sugar rollercoaster. With this knowledge you can discover what foods are best for YOU and make decisions which are right for YOU. The benefits of stabilising your sugar levels include: Higher energy levels Losing weight more easily Increased focus Increased mood Less food cravings SUGAR HACKS Food is not just about nourishing our bodies, it is about enjoying and experiencing life. Rather than offering a controlled dietary regime, myLevels provides you with the data to inform your decisions and can also help reduce spikes with strategies and techniques on HOW to eat not just WHAT to eat. Reviews of myLevels

Lacks features

First off, this app does not actually connect to any CGMs. It relies only on CGM data fed through the Health app which, as you may know, has a 2-3 hour delay.
Secondly, the app has almost no features at all. It has a single screen that only shows your BG graph, but nothing else. No realtime BG reading, nor even the ability to tap on the graph to see readings throughout the day. The food adding is also simplistic, and 6 hours later it gives you a “meal score” but this number is not related to anything I can understand nor is it explained anywhere in the very sparse FAQs.
Finally, there’s no way to check out the app without paying first. No free version and no trial period whatsoever. Which makes sense, because I doubt anyone trying this app would ever subscribe based on its extremely limited functionality. It cost me $25 just to find out that it’s not worth using. Not a great experience!
