Items take over 2-3 hours to craft…
The game was fun at first but gets really annoying with the inventory space and how long it takes to farm items to send parrots or explorers…. Sometimes they require 40 waters and 30 leaf… our inventory always full. As you progress.. you will see that without spending money the game gets boring real fast.. items
Take over 2-3 hours to complete just to send your explorers away . And sometimes they ask

Over 2 hours …. It’s hard to keep playing the game so once I close the app to wait…

Development Issues
An addictive fun game mostly, BUT, 2 major issues 1) you can’t obtain the items you need to upgrade certain buildings, needed to increase storage or the map or even when the game sets you given tasks to complete, you can’t complete them. And because you can’t obtain the necessary items you cannot progress at the speed you might want to. This is really annoying after a while, and very poorly thought out by the developer. 2) you can’t obtain the manuals required to upgrade the buildings which give you things to feed the parrot tree or send to sea , especially the yellow one without buying them. Again very annoying, because there is no other way of obtaining them. These issues slow the whole game down to the point you just get bored and annoyed and the developers need to free-up you ability to get access to what you need.
There is no way of telling which locations spawn the locations you need, so developers either need to provide a chart which tells you or make all locations available so yo can choose what you need.
Also the ads are too much, too repetitive and very annoying very quickly. All of them you can’t exit until a certain amount of time has passed and some of them throw you out of the game all together.
The game is VERY expensive because you can’t really do much without buying sand dollars, so not much good for kids that don’t have any available cash.Show lessMS honey bee

I am a huge fan of strategy games and games like virtual villagers, virtual families, fish tycoon. I usually don’t like the games where you have to wait a long period of time for something to get done and collect items- but this game is different. There are so many different aspects to the game and it doesn’t overload you all at once. And it’s not necessary to spend really money on the game, you can still progress just fine without it, which is also appreciated. The controls are very easy to use and navigate as well. Could not say more positive things, and I never write reviews, but I want to see more people find this game.Show lessajsutton116

I really liked the idea of this game at first, but after playing for a couple weeks I’ve realized this game has no interest in keeping you motivated to play. EVERTHING important that’s needed to make great advances in the game takes hours to craft and some items are only available in special events. The storage system is completely inadequate for the the sheer number of different items you have to craft, and as the game progresses you require more and more and more and more items. Items needed to send rafts on a voyage should not be a surprise and voyages should be editable. It’s so disappointing to find out I need so many items for rafts, so I give up and leave the game since I need 20 items that takes 1-2+ hours to craft or gather and I’m out of storage trying to get items for parrots. I’ll be shocked if it make it to day 25.Show lessAl Roberg

Has the potential to be a great game but the rewards are really low and costs of adventures really high so there is a massive imbalance. Also, to speed up production etc, the cost of money is way too high meaning you’d spend heaps to get few rewards anyway.Coli83

Great game!! Surprising and refreshing that I don’t have to shell out money to play this fee game. You can watch videos to get rewards, but the game works without them. Really fun, but could add some improvements
I actually am enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would so far. I have indeed found that wait times for new buildings and resources are getting longer the more I progress, but I don’t think it’s unbearable like other reviews say. The main thing I’d like to see is maybe a little silly, but it would be nice to be able to rotate the buildings when you’re moving them so they can face different ways. I’m struggling to like my layouts when everything’s facing the same way. It would also be nice to exchange resources for money - I always have too much wool and fish and it feels wasteful just disposing of them.. I also think the team network could be a bit better explained; I don’t think it’s quite my thing, but equally I’m still not quite sure what it’s all about: for example the bottles - I get notifications saying someone has found my bottle, but I don’t send them or know what they are.. However I still really enjoy this game, I just think a few tiny changes would make me love it even more.Show lessmscott2803

I enjoy the challenges, but it is also frustrating.
For example, I am required to supply goods from facilities that I don’t have, and won’t be allowed to build for quite some time. Also, instead of making things difficult by requiring different types and quantities of goods, often it’s a ridiculous amount of resources -and who has the space to store all that as it’s collected?
And then, to set sail, another ridiculous amount of resources is needed- and not things like food and water, blankets, cloth. You have to supply 15 units of sand! Or 10 units of melted wax!
And next, why do you increase the cost to build anything exponentially? 100,000 gold coins to build a goat habitat ???? Why not need to collect sticks, stones, etc, and store them at the building site?
I can’t even imagine what it will cost to build the glass blower facility or the bakery.Show lessMJMIttner
