Pricey Learning

I love this app so much and it really does have a clean finish and so many helpful features that ensure that you not only know what the words look like and what they mean, but also how to say them and speak them. It really is a helpful tool but I wish to learn at a faster pace and can’t do to being limited by the non premium features. I wish learning could be free because even at such a low price I can’t afford it. That makes me sad, I really do wish to advance but can’t. :(

Lingo

This program makes you listen to the word, speak it and spell it. A great way to increase vocabulary!

Warning

They will charge you $49.99. I some how unknowingly got a pro subscription. Be careful!

Response from developer

Greetings, If you are being charged for the app it is because you are enrolled in a subscription to iTranslate PRO. Subscriptions auto renew, if you did not end your trial, Apple would have renewed you for a subscription to iTranslate PRO. It is not possible to start a trial or subscription without actively doing so. Terms and prices would have been presented and you would have had to have confirmed. Apple would have also sent you a confirmation email. You can cancel this via the subscription settings on your device. Go to Settings > Tap your name at the top of the screen> Tap Subscription. Tap the Subscription that you want to manage. You can also use the Manage Subscriptions link in the app settings menu. A refund request would need to be submitted directly to Apple. If you need any further assistance, you can contact us directly as well: help@itranslate.com -iTranslate Team

Uhmmm..

You can barely understand anything since it’s voiced by a robot and not a human-being. It teaches you at a very slow pace because you only learn 4 words per lesson. Over all it’s not the best way of learning a language but it’s not the worst mostly because it’s very hard learning a language through a book. I would not recommend this to anyone trying to learn a language.

Useless free version

Only let me use it for one lesson on the first day now I have to pay to have any lessons more. Learn 4 words then pay... useless

Response from developer

Greetings, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy. For free version, only one lesson is free at this moment. If you want more lessons, you would need a subscription to PRO. Additionally, we offer a free trial of the PRO upgrade if you want to test it. -iTranslate Team

The App Won’t Talk To Me

I’m trying to learn Korean but I can’t learn anything because every time I try to learn a new word it doesn’t say the word for me and if the app doesn’t say the word for me I won’t know how to say it so can this feature in the app be fixed please

It’s fine

I been waiting to learn Japanese but sadly I only get 1 lesson, this is my first day trying it and if I get one lesson each day I guess I’ll put the stars at 4 it’s good for you can know different languages to be honest, this is kinda better than that green bird lol I hope y’all read this, it’s a good app but I want suggestion

•Maybe make two lesson each day one in the morning and another in the afternoon

•Bug fixing

•More than one lesson

•custom noise (Like if you get it wrong, you can change the noise in setting)

•A section bar that you can review your words more than once
This is just a suggestion and yeah, please don’t hate me lol

Working hard.

At 67 learning a new language is difficult but I keep plugging away.
Often the person speaking throws me off but again there will be other people I will encounter with dialects, so my ear needs to pick the sounds.

🤦🏼‍♂️Great idea but needs a lot of updates

Needs to speak the word every time you select or spell a word. Let you look at what you just answered and see the correct spelling. Have a button to go to the next page, not auto change.

Liked the idea that you can go into this with just a few words and progress steadily. But I really dislike the way it doesn’t let you ponder what just happened.

The speech recognition is terrible! Wether you use AirPods or just the phone. On simple words it picks up completely different than what was said.

😭😭😭

I wanted to learn Arabic but they didn’t have it so I chose Spanish. The lessons were unclear on directions, and the microphone kept thinking I said man man when I said cansado. I also don’t like how you need to pay to get your SECOND LESSON. I barely learned anything from the first lesson. If you could fix these issues, I would definitely give this a higher rating. I would appreciate if you tweaked this. Thank you for reading this.
