Not even worth the 20 bucks for the first month

I work nights and sometimes I have time to watch a football game. They had the game I wanted to watch so I pay 20 bucks and watch the game. The next week I try and watch another game. Nothing but a black screen. I try restarting my device, nothing, I uninstall and reinstall the app nothing, I uninstall the app restart my device again nothing. I tried a second device nothing. What a ripoff fix your stuff or go out of business because the way your app works you are just scammers.

Top tier pricing, bottom tier service. Needs work!!

Thankfully, I only did the $20 monthly trial and do not commit to a more expensive plan. I have had issue after issue with this service. The app frequently glitches, lags, unexpectedly closes, signs me out, etc. The mobile app does the same. The channel lineup is pretty good, but the user interface is awful and the development of the platform needs a lot of attention. Vidgo wants to charge top tier prices with bottom tier prices.

ZERO stars - Don’t bother

This is the most horrible streaming service app ever (AppleTV). It is super buggy, quits constantly, sometimes making you re-login. I used for 45 minutes and had it quit 5 times. Streaming picture is super low res most of the time (and no, It’s not my bandwidth problem). You can’t get the closed captions to turn off, and when you try it won’t get rid of the guide menus all over the screen. And they say they’ve been in business for 5 years? I don’t see how.

Called customer service only to have the call drop three times, and to be told they are having technical problems with their computers (no kidding). And after 1 hour of using their service, will not issue a refund.

RIDICULOUSLY horrible company.

Not a review guy

But seeing the complaints and issues for the low ratings is just well not what I have experienced. Yes the guide isn’t the best but you can still find the things you want to watch relatively easy and as far as customer service problems I had the 20 first month promo but was charged full price. Contacted them and instantly refunded the difference. Vidgo isn’t the best but it’s definitely better than the reviews it’s getting.

Even worse than I expected

I can’t even write all of the problems across every single platform. Mobile app, iPad, Roku, desktop, they’re all riddled with problems. Can’t pause ESPN. Picture quality seems low. All apps are ridiculously slow/borderline unusable. Roku app wouldn’t accept my password even though that password worked fine on desktops and mobile versions of Vidgo. Tried this service primarily because they were one of the few with the Longhorn Network. Then when Texas plays Wyoming, the system crashes right at the start and I didn’t get to watch a single second of the game. I thought as long as a streaming service had the right channels, I could put up with a slightly inferior user experience. But this is beyond bad. Feels like a beta that wasn’t ready for production. I apologize to everyone that I recommended this service to.

Won’t work when the game is on

I tried a subscription to this app for football season. They lured me with a $20 for first month discount. This is the absolute worst streaming service. First of all, they don’t even have local channels like CBS, Fox, or NBC. This literally removes 3 hot channels for sports , yet they advertise that they were voted number one for college sports. Yeah right. When you try to log in for the big game, it will tell you that your not permitted randomly. This isn’t the streaming service you want, period. Not for sports or anything.

Definitely love

Vidgo seems to be getting it right and continually and constantly improving features functionality and probably one of the cleanest video streams out there with very low latency and buffering. Support was very helpful with any questions I had as well!

I don’t understand the lower ratings that more than a year old. The application has been significantly improved, more content and very easy to use interface. Thanks Vidgo for the reasonable price too.

Only get 4 hours to try the app then you’re charged🙄🙄

You only get 4 hours to try the app. Kinda need more time than that. Other companies give you 3 days or 7 or sometimes up to a month, but 4 hours 😂. Then when you go to cancel online, you then HAVE TO CALL TO ACTUALLY CANCEL!!!! I’m currently on hold to cancel the app I never even used. I’m one of those that if you make this difficult, I will never use your app!!

Great App!

Problem reported and solved quickly! It no longer logs me out after five minutes. Great job and fast work! Now, once again, I can watch the game as I take care of business when I have to without missing action until I get back to the big screen. Thanks!
