I’ve worked in tech for 15 years. Anyone who believes that 2.4ghz wifi is obsolete needs a serious reeducation and perhaps a life coach. Seems like a bunch of tired old men with nothing better to do. This app keeps me informed while I travel. Occasionally experiences minor outages. Sure the UI could use an update but for an optional feature and With 4 humidors and over 1600 cigars in my personal Collection there’s no products or services i trust more. With a decades worth of acquisitions in my humidors.

Garage

Drops your sign on then forgets your account credentials and will not let you create a new password. Frustrating waste of time and money!

Archaic app with zero functionality

This app is archaic in every way. The interface, the features and the functionality are all redundant. The developers expect a subscription payment against the use of this app which does nothing but allow you to monitor the temp and RH of your device which you buy off them.

Complete scam

This app has got to be a complete scam. Its UI is firmly set in the 1990s. The connection method is atrocious. The alarms and set points do not work. Run away and don’t use cigar oasis. They used to be a great brand and now they are total trash

So excited… and let down

I was sooo excited to have the app connected to my unit so I could monitor levels in my humidor. The app was one of the features of the unit I was most excited about. So far the humidor works great, but the app is a total bust.

It downloaded fine, I skimmed the Wi-fi product guide and saw I needed my network name to not have any spaces so I updated my network name.

It still wasn’t working so I reread the instructions and saw “Our devices do not support 5ghz networks.” Ugh, an hour into trying to get it to connect and learning more about networks than I ever wanted to, I cannot use this app… but thanks for the 30 day trial.

Quick google search would show that 2.4ghz is still a standard and best for long distance, wall penetration and stability for low weight data like our units report.

No notifications for alerts

The app is useful, but it does not alert you when the cartridge needs changing. It doesn’t support notifications so you need to check regularly to see if humidity is falling and the cartridge needs changing. Without this, setting alert points is kind of pointless because it never alerts you to anything.

The WiFi is a joke don’t buy if you want to monitor

You need a degree in computer security to get it on your home network. There is no help. All other devices I have do not have a problem and I doubt this needs such an elaborate process to connect.

This seems more network than app related. Our devices have the same requirements as any other device. 2.4ghz wifi frequency, Security encryption (WPA2, WPA or WEP, combined/mixed modes are not supported) and a password protection on the network.  The only difference is the chipset cannot differentiate security types on its own and requires it be specified by the user This information is only accessible or editable by a user. Absolute Garbage

Disconnected from WiFi. Almost impossible to just reconnect it. Have to go through a whole set up process. Then it tells you it has reconnected your old unit but still doesn’t display in your app. I’m sick of dealing with buggy crappy apps that charge money. Stay away.

App access & Subscription are independent of device connectivity or provisioning. those are reliant on network and action by the user. Seems like something our support team would be happy to assist with if contacted from our support page.

App was working now it’s not

App was working fine. Today it’s decided to log me out and now I can’t get back in. Message states “Something went wrong. Please contact administrator for further assistance” Who is the administrator?

My smart humidor is not Self aware, this is not skyNet. While we appreciate the credit of sophistication the app didn't decide to log you out. On Tuesday June 6, 2023 we experienced an unexpected outage to our app service login. Our developer team have identified the cause of issue and are working to restore service as quickly as possible. The outage is isolated to account login only, it does not affect billing, connectivity, device reports or account access once service is restored. No action is required from any subscribers at this time.
