No access to photos

When i went on all good and easy to set up but shortly after it asked me for photo access in settings and in settings there was no option to ‘enable photos’ and i’ve seen many people with this issue!

Navigate to Settings -> Privacy -> Photos, and verify that the app has Read & Write permissions. Check Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy Restrictions -> Photos, and ensure it is set to “Allow changes”. Uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. I love this app there just one problem

Whenever I try to let it access my photos there’s not an option for it to access my photos this has never happened before and I hope it can be resolved!

5 years later and still garbage

Found my Polaroid Mint Pocket Printer in a drawer and thought I’d see if there had been any improvement in the intervening 5 years since I purchased it in 2019. looks like they updated the app, changed the logo, but didn’t manage to fix any of the problems with the app not actually doing what it’s supposed to do. printers useless without a functioning app and at its best the app can go through the introductory demonstration and print one photo that you take with your phone camera when you install the app and then that’s it.
The app locks up or get stuck at the loading screen, and refuses to do anything useful. tech-support is unhelpful at worst or nonexistent at best (because at least you weren’t wasting any more of your time.)
I think it’s time to finally throw this whole thing in the trash and not waste anymore of my sanity on it.

Stopped working

All of a sudden, maybe with new iOS update that it doesn’t allow access to my camera roll anymore so therefore, useless at this point in time

App does not work and possible that is intentional. Contract issues.

I am a private individual, living natural person. I have purchased a Mint printer with my own money. I am not a corporation nor am I engaged in commerce nor does anyone have any claim on me or my use of any of my own property, including this mint printer. Not only does your app not work, you are trying to claim ownership, management, maintenance, control, over me by contract to domineer legal ownership. I own my photos, not you. You attempt to clean ownership of the photos and the machine and my right to use the machine. That’s illegal, Polaroid. I bought the machine with my own money, I am the true owner. You cannot dictate to me whether or not, I may use my own property. I have the bill of sale and receipt. Either your app no longer works or you are denying me the usage of my own property because I will not cede back to you the ownership and intellectual ownership and property rights of my photos. Also as an American I do not consent to the banning of my use of a polaroid by any dictatorial regime worldwide. And yet you are colluding with worldwide dictatorial regimes, such as in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, to work with them to help prevent the owner and customer like myself from using the product even though those countries are your profits by making Polaroid products useless in those countries.

Update

Asking me to enable photos but doesn’t give that option on my settings. Used to work fine

CANNOT ACCESS PHOTOS!

I don’t know if it’s an update problem with the phone software or what but when I first got this printer it was awesome. Now it’s a brick because the printer will not access photos from my iphone. I see others are having this issue and it’s still not resolved. Without a fix this is a waste of my time and money.

Won’t access photos at all

Option isn’t even present in settings to allow it to access my photos. I see the pinned review, which is a year old, says the same thing. This app used to work fine when last I used it a year or so ago. Now it’s one star because you can’t print if it can’t access photos. Their website support page is useless also, with only the most generic FAQ.

They need to fix it

It used to work great but like other reviews I have read, you cannot enable photo gallery access anymore. So you can’t print pictures. This makes the Mint unusable which is unfortunate since that’s the reason for why we purchased it! Any solutions out there?

Unusable ?

I used to have no issue with this printer/app. I finally updated the app to start working on a gift for someone, just to realize the app can’t access photos. I saw another review saying the same thing- that it asks you to enable photo access, but it’s literally impossible to do so. it just opens settings and nothing happens. Unless you take pictures with the in-app camera, you can’t use the app at all. I’m very disappointed.
