  • Grr not cool

Why do everything have to cost money like I like games like this but I’m not about to spend any money

I didn’t really like this adventure game from Cateia games. They are a second-rate developer and I only bought th game from boredom, as there are no new releases anymore from BigFish. However, some of our beloved developers have decided to self-distribute their own games, such as Domini and Elephant. You people who played this game should check out these developers to see how amazing they are! The newer games still bear the BigFish logo, because the developer’s didn’t realize they were being dropped at that point. However their games are far superior to this one.
This was an adventure game as opposed to an HOAG. You still needed inventory items but there were no hidden object scenes. The graphics were decent, if a bit amateurish. There was an excellent journal, which recorded storyline progression. The only collectibles were stone dragons. There were 3 levels of difficulty. This game should have had a marked teleport map with available actions, for the price of $4.99! That would have made this a decent game. There was no map, teleport or otherwise and that was unacceptable! The game was glitchy, and it was hard to see as well as acquire inventory objects. Since there were no complex items to assemble, frag circles would pop up and you would combine inventory items in those circles, which made the game seem incredibly dated. Even when I executed the correct action, the game would say try again, or tell me I was doing something wrong when I knew it was correct. The actual text appeared after I had already completed the action! In addition, most of the puzzles/mini-games were of the boring rotational genre, and some were difficult to manipulate! This game had no bonus adventure but because there was so much running around it added length in a tedious manner. I am being very generous by rating it 2 stars. At least you didn’t need coins or energy, and it was a one-time price unlock, but this developer needs to get its act together. I won’t purchase any other games developed by them. Sorry, but for the price we should have a marked teleport map for instantaneous transportation!
Happy gaming everyone. In case you don’t know who I am, I am the president and CEO of the most successful review team on the App Store, the Dream Team Elite, so you can trust my review to be spot on and accurate! I rate strictly but fairly. I will tell you the truth whether you like it or not. Gamers, check out Domini and Elephant games and treat yourself to a fabulous experience. These developers and the players didn’t deserve what BigFish did to us; they took our genre away without a second thought and I hope they fail miserably!
Lynxie wishes everyone a very happy and healthy New Year!
